We stayed in a deluxe room@ Rs 1500/room. Its a plain hotel with no room service and no sea view. In fact sea is around half a kms away. Room was tidy and plain- had a small TV. Toilet was quite clean. The owner, Mr Eddy can arrange for bikes/car for sight seing. There is a small restaurant adjacent to the hotel, owned by his brother. We had breakfast over there. Food is good.

I think, Seaview is the best place to stay in Patnem. I stayed there not in season but I was completely happy. This is family rinned property and I felt me as at home. You'll find all what you need for relaxing and comfortable rest:
- it takes just three minutes to get to the beach;
- the rooms are not very big but comfortable;
- the cleanless is faultless;
- the people are very friendly and helpfull;
- Internet is possible but not for free.
As I was in Goa in monsoon, there were no much options for eating as most of the restaurants were closed but I had very tasty lunch from home kitchen every day at very reasonable price. Real value for money!!! Thank you Eddy for yo kind care!

Patnem is a quiet beach. It is frequented mostly by foreign tourist.They love to spend their days relaxing in the sun with a book in their hands.Indians who come for a very short stay would prefer action and not quiet stay. this beach has shacks/coconut huts/ wooden huts right on the beach for accomodation . The washrooms are not attached to the huts.
Seaview Resort is at 2 mins walking distance to the beach.It has clean airconditioned/ Non airconditioned rooms with attached bathrooms available for stay at same / less price than the beach huts.i would prefer staying at the hotel and thats what we did. It's washrooms are cleaner than the common shared ones at the huts.You can walk down morning/ evening and night to the beach easily . The host at seaview are wonderful people , they can help you readily and are very honest people.
The general attitude in Goa is very laid back and relaxed and there is little room for hurry.
I highly recommend Seaview Resort to all.

Stayed for nine weeks, excellent value for money. Clean and tidy room, room cleaned and linen changed when required with small tip to cleaner.
Laundry on-site. Good location, approximately 200 metres to beach.
Bus stops 50 metres. Occasionally noisy but not unusually so .
