we stayed at old oak manor overnight and it was lovely.
we stayed in the 2 bigger rooms. both open to the back of the property overlooking the splash pool and it was wonderful to sit outside in the quiet and relax. the rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms both have a huge bath and shower. if you want to watch television you can do so in the shared lounge/tv room. i will certainly go back. the riebeek valley is a beautiful area and old oak manor is an ideal base.
before the other guests checked in we had a peek at the 2 smaller rooms. although the rooms are as beautiful the bathrooms are very small so i'll make sure to get one of the bigger rooms in future.
also, we booked for the restaurant next door, cafe felix, with our accommodation booking. we confirmed this on arrival at old oak manor, but the evening the restaurant staff was most surprised by our arrival. it seem to have never reached them.
