“Loved Pucci & Lamberto!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2007

Pucci and Lamberto run this sweet little B&B with such loving care, we were graciously welcomed, offered a glass of wine and a chat in the parlor, and escorted to our beautiful room. We were made to feel like family guests, and when Lamberto made us "just a little something" for dinner we enjoyed the most delicous meal in our entire 10 days in Italy; it was exquisite and at an incredibly reasonable price. It was the highlight of our trip, and well worth the bus ride into the hill town of Civita!

“Wonderful bed & breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 July 2007

Romantica Pucci is a charming b & b. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated, the food is exceptional, and Pucci is a very gracious host. We only had 1 night there and I wish we had planned for 2. Staying there and visiting Civita was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Thank you Pucci for the wonderful experience.

“Lovely spot!”

We stayed at this somewhat remote small village for only one night but chose the right B&B. Romantica was an excellent choice due to its location and hospitality of the owners. We were the only ones in the hotel that night but we got the full spread for breakfast the following morning. We had a table booked for dinner overlooking the amazing Civita. The rooms were clean, comfortable and large. Highly recommend this place!

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 April 2007

We stayed 2 nights in late October,2006 and it was wonderful.Rooms, food ambience are all first rate.Pucci mapped out a circle day trip that included Civita, Orvieto,Lake B., and Monte Fiascione. The next day she contacted a B&B in San G. for us (that also was perfect) and mapped out a route to include Pienza,Montepuluciano, and Montelcino on the way through the beautiful Tuscan hills. Also advised about a visit to Voltare which we did the next day (great Etuscan museum there).
We can't wait to return to Bagnoregio and that whole area but definetly to include this gem of a hotel.(really a B&B with 5 well furnished & spacious rooms).

“Charming!”

We took a side trip to Bagnoregio to see Civita del Muore, a beautiful town on an outcropping in a gorge that has existed since Etruscan times. You can not stay in Civita, so you stay in Bagnoregio and walk a suspension bridge to get there.
Hotel Romantica Pucci is run by a delightful couple. It is ridiculously inexpensive and they serve a phenomenal family style meal. It was a highlight of our trip, and our only regret is that we did not spend more time there. Thank you again to Pucci and Lamberto for making our stay so special-we hope to see you again!
