My 4* rating refers to
- the friendliness of staff (reception, bar, housekeeping)
- the rooms (nice colors, good matresses, clean)
I chose to arrive by public transport (there is a bus 510 running from Zurich airport few times /hour, but stops running after 20.00hrs, bus stop would be named "Rümelbach"). There was a little confusion, since I did not bring my passport with me (I did not arrive from abroad and I frequently forget to bring it) but we had this resolved.
My room was on 2nd floor. There is an ongoing renovation on 4th floor and that is why the did not put me on 3rd floor. The noise was clearly audible but stopped in the evening (I stayed until Saturday, so there was no disturbance in the morning). I had a literally "no view room". The view from the bar was much nicer (airport view). But therefore I did not have to oversee the MacDonalds right next to the entrance of the hotel (it was a former MacDonalds hotel).
Without hesitance from the receptionist I had an umbrella borrowed (10-15 walk into the village center of Rümlang)
I went to the bar later in the evening, which was very busy. It involved some waiting time to place a second order, but the waitress did not forget us and remained friendly. I did not try the food. People around me stuck to hamburgers.
Breakfast was nothing to write home about, but complete and tasty. Coffee from a coffe-machine, i.e. each cup freshly brewed. For me a big advantage. Breakfast staff was neither fast nor negligent.
This is an airport hotel, not a holiday resort. But it serves its purpose in a very nice way.

I found the hotel quite appropriate for long layover. Bus shuttle works well, all were on-time, staff was friendly and very efficient with quick check-in/check-out and helping me with the internet and printing. Also important advantage, the hotel is located just in 5-10 min by walk away from commuter train station (3 or 4 steps from Zurich HBH). Bed looked strange (like McDonalds logo) and the room wasn't well equipped and cozy.

well, yes its conveniently located near the airport, but you will have really hard time finding it if you don't speak german. its a puzzle of roads to get through to reach Park INN. what makes it distinct is presence of a McDonald's which caters up till 1AM, so in case you want to pick up something quick, you always have the option. Check in is a breeze but like every other business hotel, every thing is chargeable.what you get for your online booking price is just the room, almost all other amenities are chargeable.
spacious rooms and clean with a good view of airport is a bonus.

Located in a business area about 10 minutes drive from the airport terminal so perfect for a pre or post flight stop-over. Transfer from the airport on free courtesy bus that runs every 30 minutes.
High point was the staff, all friendly, efficient and very helpful.
Rooms are modern, clean and well equipped. Wi-fi is free, fast and easy to access. My only complaint was the heavy external window blind that was closed and could not be opened - so no view or natural light.
90+ TV channels though the only English language ones were all news stations.
The dining room is functional but characterless and the menu limted. A burger was very tasty but, at £17, expensive - though not excessively so by Swiss standards. It's unsurprising the immediately adjacent McDonalds is popular!
Breakfast also good quality and plenty of choice.
Overall perfectly adequate with great staff, but not cheap and not close to the city centre.
