We rented two rooms at the Cas Ferrer for a few days and were the only guests in this little hotel. The hotel had every convenience we wanted, including wireless broadband access at no extra cost, and the manager (Tolo) did everything possible to make us welcome. The rooms were beautifully designed and well-equipped. My daughter said her room was "the coolest bedroom she had ever stayed in," including her own at her home in California. A nice large breakfast was served at our convenience in the morning and included fresh-squeezed juice, warm pastries from the bakery down the street, intense espresso, and whatever else we asked for.

The hotel is in an outstanding location in the old walled city within the heart of Alcudia, where there are almost no cars allowed. The streets are paved beautifully with smooth stone blocks and there are many small restaurants nearby.

We were there during the first week of November, and it was very quiet. Tolo said that a few weeks earlier, the place was full of tourists, so plan your visit based on whether you want company and a party atmosphere, or solitude.

We stayed at the Botticcelli room in Cas Ferrer. The hotel has 6 rooms all designed in a different way, and is managed by a lovely enthousiastic couple. It's designed in a refreshing and luxurious way, including a surround system and flatscreen in your room and a tray with fresh grapes beside the bed. We loved the breakfast and all the personal attention we got while we stayed there...and enjoyed the inroom jacuzzi. Just one 'minor' point to mention: the hotel is located in a street in Alcudia where motorized traffic passes from early in the morning..so its not a place for long sleepy mornings! Apart from that it's the perfect get-a-way !

We can not stand hotels which have elevators that seem to reach the moon with room numbers in the thousands!! So when faced with hotel choice in Mallorca we were having a bit of trouble. However we finally found and stayed in Nou Hotelet in Alcudia Old Town and it is FANTASTIC!!

Tolo and Stephanie made us feel at home and nothing was too much. Tolo knows the area very well (his parents own a cafe here too) and was able to direct us to many great little restaurants.

Without waxing lyrical about this too much basically Alcudia old town offers you pedestrian areas, good restaurants, fine little hotels with personal service and friendly local people.

The Nou Hotelet and it's staff were simply friendly helpful and understanding. The breakfast was great and the rooms are very slick designed. The whole hotel has a very cool design. This hotel is 4 stars or more for sure - and I value quality over facilities - but the rooms have satellite TV, LCD TVs, DVD player with 5.1 speakers etc.

This lovely hotel is in the old town of Alcudia and in a good spot to wander
through the little streets. The hotel has 6 bedrooms all decorated to a
different theme. The building is lovely old stone and was 2 years being
renovated to a very high standard. It opened in last July so everything is still
very new and cared for. The modern and sleek decoration blends well with the old
building to give a warm atmosphere. Our bedroom had the usual facilities plus cd
and dvd player. The staff were young, friendly and very professional. Certainly
a hotel we would return to.
