There are not many places we have visited that left such a deep impression on us as Cas Ferrer Nou Hotelet did. And we do travel a lot. It is not quite easy to depict its charm in a couple of words but I’ll try to summarize some great moments we experienced during our stay.
First of all Alcudia is a medieval city with narrow and quite streets that keeps its poetry alive and so does the hotel. Renovated in a contemporary manner, the design of the hotel leaves its historic trace visible on both, interior and exterior aspect of the building. Once you get inside you feel like home. I believe its warmth comes from the people, Tolo and Maria that put so much soul in what they are doing. We stayed for nine days at the beginning of July in the Istanbul room and we felt transposed into its thematic. Apart from that, the room was clean and had an easy access to the first floor common terrace where guests used to interact.
The position of the hotel is just few steps from the main square where local people and tourists mingle together.
The old city of Alcudia does not have a direct access to the beach but the nearby beaches in the Bay of Alcudia and Bay of Pollensa can be easily reached by cycling, walking (depending on the beach the distance can range between 2-5km), taxi (for Platja de S’Illot the cost of the cab is around 6-7 euros) or by car rental. Most of the beaches on the South side of Bay of Pollensa, where we spent our time are positioned in a quiet and very picturesque setting with cliffs emerging from the Mediterranean waters.
Without any hesitation we would recommend Alcudia and Cas Ferrer Nou Hotelet as a destination that would remain deeply engraved into ones memory.
