Great base for exploring the region whether cycling or walking. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hosts friendly and attentive. Nice to relax in the evening with a good meal , wine and friends, planning the next days excursions. Had a very memorable week and will definately go back when visiting the region again.

Steve and Sarah are wonderful hosts who go that little bit extra to make your holiday one to remember for all the right reasons. Based in Galan, Allant Holidays makes the perfect base for cycling in the pyrenees, especially some of the big "hills" visited by the Tour de France, and Steve is an amazing coach, regardless of how quick or slow you are! Even if you aren't a cyclist, let your other half disappear up the mountains, and enjoy the peace and quiet next to the pool, with plenty of space in the lounge and games room (all of which are very clean) when it gets too hot outside. We visited the market town of Lannemezan and a nearby reservoir on our days off from cycling - both of which were very picturesque. There is a self catering option - but do try and eat the meals available at least once as Sarah's homemade cooking is very good - especially the deserts - and is easily enough to satisfy hungry cyclists! I'll definitely be going back and couldn't recommend here highly enough :)

We found Allant through a websearch and were really pleased to make it the base for our first trip to the Pyrennes. Our weather was excellent which we did not expect in September. We cycled 9 days out 10 and loved the area. Steve is a great motivator in terms of cycling and Sarah's advice is sound too. Nice to stay with such an interesting and helpful family. We cooked for ourselves mostly though we did sample some of Sue/Sarah's wizardry in cooking too. Apart from Hamish the shaggy donkey and his endless appetite the best thing was getting a lift to the mountains with Steve in the car, and the fun people who were also there at the time. One the things we really appreciated was the clear prompt advice we got from Sarah and Steve before we flew. We did three cols including Tourmalet which we were very pleased with.

Steve, Sarah, Sue and John provide everything needed for a first class holiday. The accommodation is very comfortable and relaxing, the cuisine is superb, the pool provides a perfect place to “chill” after a hard days cycling in the mountains. Every effort is made so that your holiday is suited to you.

Allant holidays is within easy reach of the challenging Pyrenean cols and the immediate countryside is undulating providing some relatively hard cycling too.
