Rainbow Holiday Inn is close to Kalpetta town, yet far from all the city noises. It is very nice place to stay. The home is surrounded by green lush trees and beautiful coffee plantations and small mountains are visible from the rooms. Mr. Livingston is very nice and helpful person. Do not forget to order meals from Mrs. Livingston. She prepares very good Kerala authentic food. We loved the stay and food as well. It is value for the money. We had a look at other homestays in the same road. But I would definitely say, this is the best in kalpetta.

I stayed there for 2 days and 2 nights. It was simply awesome! I stayed in the "wooden house" on the topmost floor. It was a very cosy room and gave me a 360degree view of the surroundings. And what a sight that was! I could see the mist hugging the trees and plants!! A feast for the eyes!! Mr. and Mrs. Livingston were simply fantastic!! A very friendly couple who made me feel very special with their hospitality. Also thanks to their knowledge of the place I was able to plan my sight seeing tours without any difficulty. And the food was simply awesome!! Me, being a non-veg , loved the chicken and the meat dishes!! I strongly recommend Rainbow holiday home for all those who would like to have a fantastic experience of Waynad. It is absolutely worth the money!! Also it is very easy to reach! It is situated in a perfect location. Located in the city but no noise from the city to disturb you. A perfect place to relax within the city in a silent place!!

Rainbow is an excellent place to rest sorrunded by nature , living in a familly ambient where all your needs will be resolved by Mr Livingston (he will organish any plan you ask and will show you his coffe plantation). Big, clean and comfortable rooms and tasti indian food made by his wife . A pleasure .

Me and my wife stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights when we wanted to do an holiday in Kerala. It is a beautiful homestay. I would recommend for couples to stay there.
the home stay was equipped with hot running water which is important in a cool place like wayanad. The bed was fantastic and trust me its so cold there you do not even need the fan. Its really beautifully designed rooms which is well furnished. The room was just perfect.
Breakfast is a must to have at the home stay. Any person with taste buds will really enjoy the superb delicious dishes made in kerala style. Mr. and Mrs. Livingston will absolutely pamper you with their amazing hospitality, which gave me the feeling that i was very special to them. thanks a lot for your care. I would definitely recommend having dinner there. For meat lovers like me I got home cooked fish and chicken dishes. the aroma itself was sufficient to make yourself fulfilled. You have to sit like a big family with everyone staying there and you get to meet different people and cultures also. We met a nice family who had traveled to India from France to have their new year.

Mr. Livingston is a wealth of information and all of it was reliable. If you don't have a plan and come there definitely listen to him as you get bang for your buck. He sets everything up for you as well and it is worth the money as well. I would definitely listen to his opinions for the sight seeing and my travel was arranged without any hazels.
Normally i would never stay in a home stay but I would definitely come back here again for its food and cottage.
