I had the pleasure of visiting the Wild Apple hill b&b with my girlfriend for 4 days. The location is a little tucked away, but only about 5 mins from Osler mountain, and 15 mins from downtown Collingwood and/or Blue mountain village.

The house itself is gorgeous, and Carol, is absolutely lovely. She was warm and inviting and the rooms were impeccaple with a gorgeous view of her 6 acre lot.

The cost was much cheaper than many of the other B&B we had found and probably the best experience we've ever had.
The breakfast were amazing, and feel free to ask Carol to make you her special "blue jay's nest". While having breakfast, we had the joy of seing all the squirrels, bluejays and various animals that come to feed on Carol's outdoor balcony. A true treat and a nice change of scenary from our normal Toronto views.
Carol is extremelly friendly, knowledgeable and Kody, her dog, is one of the nicest and well behaved animals I've ever met. Overall a great experience, and we're planning on returning in the next few weeks for another getaway.

We stayed at the Wild Apple B&B in early Sept 2010. The colours were just beginning to turn and the walking trails on the property, together with the position high up on the escarpment, enhanced our stay. We were delighted with the welcome that "Kody" the Husky gave us in the driveway, followed soon after by Carol at the front door of this lovely house. This little tucked away gem was a welcome retreat as we were in much need of R&R. Originally planning to sleep in all weekend, we couldn't resist rising at 6am both mornings to take in the majestic views of the sun rising over the Nottawa and Georgian Bays. Carol was an excellent host and became a fast friend who we still miss!
We've travelled extensively and, in doing so, have stayed in B&B's throughout N. America and Europe. We highly recommend the Wild Apple. Infact, we just purchased two nights for good friends of ours for a wedding gift.

Up, up, up the Blue Mountain Road we go with yellow birds and butterflies, a rabbit and a doe. Far, far, far the Georgian Bay we see a panoramic view from Wild Apple BnB. Here, here, here Carol greets us with a smile, sharing her home's elegance with us for a while.
There, there, there we walk a mountain trail feeling like we're living in a childhood fairy-tale.
Up, up, up we behold a starlit night, awed by rare clarity of such a wondrous sight. Away, away, away from the beauty of this place we take our fond memories, a taste of Heaven's grace. (My adult daughter and I loved our stay at this very special place.)

We've been to a few, and this is definitely the best. Quiet, beautiful grounds, clean lovely home, and the best breakfasts you could ask for. Carol is the best hostess, and will go out of her way to give you the best she has to give. Incredible filling breakfasts with tasty homemade ingredient, mostly organic. Stay a week, and there will be something different every day. I'm hypoglycemic, and her breakfasts are absolutely perfect. And the taste... out of this world!
There are blue jays to watch each morning, along with hummingbirds, squirrels, etc. A lovely patio and waterfall, and miles of trails to walk if you like. Every comfort, top grade linens and towels, etc. The King Suite downstairs is more like an apartment with big screen satellite TV, and even a sauna off the bathroom. Relaxing and spotless comfort. You can't go wrong here. (We've been back over several years.) Ask about a discount for multiple nights.
