“Splash! It's fantastic for kids!”

Viva Blue is pretty much average on rooms, cleaning and service, BUT is way above average on pools, splash area (great pirateship) and kids amusement. The kids club is great, though it only in German an English.
The food in the buffet is superb. There is a great variation in the dishes.
Location is close to the beach and small supermarkets. You also have to try the steakhouse just behind the hotel.
I would go back any day.

“Any less than 5”

Spent a week at Viva Blue with my wife and two children. I can honestly say that it is the best All inclusive hotel i have ever stayed in and worthy of its 4 star status. The food, drink and service was excellent and the staff always friendly, cheerie and helpful, No queing at the bar they serve you at the tables in real glasses. You only get plastic glasses if you go to the bar yourself. the food and choice was different everyday with themed nights and freshly cooked food every night. If you are looking for a hotel with lots of British people this is not the place for you but i dont think that is a negative and the entertainment team covered all languages. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone.

“Perfect for Families with Yound Children - Great Service”

Just came back from a fantastic week at the Viva Blue.

The Good

All rooms are decent size with seperate bedroom, balcony and kitchenette
Nice Pools - incl Splash Pool for Kids (although a little nippy)
Short walk to beach - amazing beach (very sandy and calm seas)
Amazing Service
Decent evening entertainment
Good Kids Club and Playground
Great Food - freshly squeezed OJ for brekkie, loads of great food at all meals
Great for Families - lots of High Chairs, lots of kids
Very nice adult only pool - very relaxing, with soft beds

The not so good
Very few English guests (not a big problem, all guests were very pleasant but found it harder to mix)
Pools not heated, so a little nippy
Some difficulty ordering drinks (we went All Inclusive and we wanted to take a drink back to room as baby was sleeping, but staff only serve people sitting at tables)
We paid £200+ for a Superor Room, but found the room to be no different to normal room and felt a bit conned

Thouroughly recommend this hotel for Couples with young children

Enjoy

Room Tip: Rooms that look over the Pool likely to be noisier as the entertainment takes place outside. We had...

“Lovely”

Came back from this hotel 2 weeks ago and loved it, we will be returning.
Beautiful hotel, 5 min walk to beach but nothing locally. Ideal if you just want to stay put.
The hotel has 4 pools, 2 main pools, one small baby pool covered by an umbrella and an over 18's pool totally secluded with double beds around the edge for pure relaxation.

Activities
Something for everyone. Younger children have a full programme of activities they can attend at the wooden classrooms in the childrens area. Teenagers/adults also have activities a particular favorite was football on the astro court at 5pm! Mini disco after dinner and then adult entertainment, evenings generally finished and bars shut around 10:30pm
Children have a large play area, little tykes style on a huge scale & a children pool area with large pirate ship/slides etc

Rooms
Spacious rooms, lounge, kitchen and bedroom. Flat screen tv, dinning room table and bathroom.

Food
Main restaurant large and airy, self service, waiter service for drinks. All well known brands of drink/alcohol. Highchairs for babies. Outside area for eating too.
Grill bar - serving fajitas, ribs etc
Pool bar - serving pizza, all salads, sandwiches, chips, spaghetti etc. Little lunch boxes (happy meal type) for little children
Overall food very nice, sometimes a little bland but plenty of options to add sauces and spices.

Hotel clean, staff friendly. Not a hotel if you want late nights and loudness. Reps/children entertainers are low key but there.

Wish we had discovered this five or six years ago when the children were younger.
Excellent location, great accommodation and five star service with the all-inclusive deal.
I am always wary of gushing reviews, especially after only just returning from the holiday but honestly if you have a young family and want a faultless holiday look no further than Aviva Blue Playa De Muro Mallorca.
Its largely a german and scandinavian resort which essentially means its cleaner, less rowdy, better organised, professional and a more up market experience.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, food excellent with a great variety for children and adults. The staff are a real bonus to the whole experience.Very accommodating, helpful and a great laugh.
Truly this is a real find, torn between sharing this review and keeping the place to myself,lol..

Room Tip: Go for a ground floor apt.You get a garden area and its less hassle than using lifts and stairs.
