Staying two nights here was the perfect place to relax after a week in Glasgow for the World Pipe Band Championships. Beautiful location outside Portree. Beautiful sunset (if the Skye weather participates) from the front steps.
Can't say enough about Tim and Grace. Very welcoming, very personable and an awesome dog name Brenna! They both offered great tips on where to go, and Tim has many photos throughout the house he's taken around the island. They went out of the way for my mum and I, even packing us a lunch the morning we left. Awesome experience, made our Scotland even more memorable. Did I mention the beds were wicked comfy?

We loved the view from our room and being in the wild countryside. The drive from Portree to Grasmhor was lovely at any time of day. Tim was great fun to chat with and full of excellent advice on worthwhile places to visit for the walking, the food, the drink or the photographs. His photos are amazing! The breakfasts are excellent. It is a perfect place to enter into the spirit of Skye.

In advance Time sent us a few detailed directions to help find Grasmhor. He was eager to give us helpful advice on some hidden points of interest on Skye. Breakfast was lovely with the unique opportunity to try a vegetarian sausage...
Grasmhor is a wonderful B&B - one of the best we have ever been to.

Grasmhor is a delight and well worth all the postive comments on Tripadvisor. Our room (Woodend) was spacious, well decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean - with the bonus of having a wonderful view. Tim and Grace are great hosts - welcoming, helpful and friendly - but the real star is Brenna!
The breakfasts are excellent - both the continental and traditional cooked - and there is the flexibility to put together any combination you want.
Prior to visiting Grasmhor we were a little concerned that it might be isolated, but it is only two miles into Portree along a quiet road - where there is good selection of restaurants.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay which represented great value for money.
