“Warning: Don't Stay at the Seacrest!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 May 2009

This was the worst place I have ever had the misfortune to spend ONE night in. The place is falling apart I was booked for 2 weeks, but left after one night. The shower didn't work, the room was filthy, holes in the sheets, picnic tables in the dinning room, 2 singles beds put together for a queen, door wouldn't lock, light didn't work, ants in the bathroom, sliding door wouldn't close, couldn't make personal calls except with the reception phone with staff dialing and listening, the only good thing was that I got my full deposit back! The pool is dirty, and there is not beach. DON'T STAY THERE!!!

“The worst hotel in the world”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 May 2009

It's badly need of some update, nothings workd,WORKS, bath was dirt , sheets was a mess, no chair to sit on in the room, i have to call housekeeping to come and clean the room after two days which was a waste of time, it takes two or more hrs to sit and wait for breakfast which is cold most time, it need to close and it cost us $110 nightly...it's a shame for our hard earning money,SHAME ON YOU SEACREST BEACH.

“Need updating”

Pro: Hotel staff was friendly. Jamaican breakfast was included in the price of the room. Stayed only one night. We drove by and found the hotel just off the highway in St. Ann Bay. Hotel is gated and secured at night. We had a deluxe room with a fridge and some ocean view from our room.

Cons: The decor is early 80s with flower bedspread. There were ants on the floor when we woke up in the morning. The shower head was hand held which made it very different to shower. Hot water was luke warm. Bed was okay but pillows were too hard and uncomfortable.
To get to the beach, you have to go through a clain linked gate and the path to the beach was littered with garbage. Not very impressive... Our cable didn't work so we had no TV.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. We found a much nicer hotel further towards Mobay and stayed there until our flight home.
