Great surprise to see a lovely clean room and staff all to willing thelp.(English at times was a problem) great location as after a busy and noisy day of shopping coming back to the peacefulness of the resort was heaven. Food was good and room service by boat was a treat. The pool access from the room was the best by far. We will definitely be back.

We stayed as the Access Resort in December/January 2011/12 it was the best holiday ever. Myself and 2 teen age children were overwhelmed with how helpful and amazing the staff were. The pool was so beautiful and the buffet breakfast every morning was brilliant. Our favourite thing was we befriended a taxi driver that worked for the resort and he went out of his way to show us around and took us to places that as a tourist we felt blessed to go to. We will be returning there next year.

Stayed with my husband for one week during Christmas 2011. Spacious room. Hard bed, but having red reviews here on Tripadvisor I told reception that we wanted something that made the bed softer, and it was done when we returned to our room later. However the pillows were very high and caused us neck problems.

My husband got a camera problem, so he put it in it's little pouch and placed it on the bedside table. His intention were to try to fix it later. Next evening I asked if it was fixed. Then he could not find it. After looking everywhere the conclusion was that it had been stolen by the cleaning staff. Something I had been warning him about for weeks before we came there, and even at the resort. But he didn't listen! (I had a number of times quoted a reviev here at Tripadvisor from "nick s" from November 3, 2011 about stolen things for him). I didn't bring any values and was careful to put everything down in the drawers and to zip up my makeup- and toilet bags and not leaving anything on tables or so. At checkout he told the reception about it, but they didn't care.

We received written information about disruptions to prepare for Christmas Eve, and about the Blue Wing and the Green Wing. But we didn't know in which wing we were, and that information was not to be found somwehere...

Staff didn't speak English very well. The Breakfast was very good.

Well, even if I had written negative things I must say that in all cases we really enjoyed our stay at The Access! It was lovely with the direct pool access and the resort was so beautiful. Liked that there were no small children there. We will always remember the fantastic view from our room overlooking the pool, the garden and the mountains in the background.

I had cut and pasted together a document with information about The Access and surroundings and I had great use of it! Thank's a lot, reviewers!

We stayed at the Access Resort in December 2010. We just had the lead in room but it was quite big, the beds are very hard but that is common through out Thailand. Our favourite part was the pool, it was great to just walk out the front of your room and slide on in. We thought some parts in the hotel looked a bit tired and were due for a make over but on a whole it was quite pleasant. It is tucked away off the main road, almost like a little secret. The staff were friendly but there was a bit of a language barrier. The location was good as it was in a fairly quiet area, short stroll to karon centre and beach. The food here was lovely and room service comes by boat which is a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay at this small but lovely hotel.
