Enjoyed my stay here. The price was OK - not a fabulous deal, but pretty good value. The only problem i had was when the credit card machine didn't work at the end, and I had to shell out a bunch of cash for the stay. Las Margaritas, a partner restaurant down the street, was very good; worth a visit for a tex-mex break from thai food.

I travel extensivley and had been working in Bangkok for a couple fo weeks and fancied a 3 day break before going back to Melbourne.. Been to Phuket many many times and was looking for a good value hotel.. The Karon Cafe is simple but spotless, with good air con, plenty of hot water and WIFI.. Staff were great, and nothing was to much trouble.. In fact planning to comeback in mid May for 3 days..

We stayed there for 3 nights. Although we had booked more than a month in advance for non smoking room, they couldnt provide us with one so we had to make do with a smoking room for one night. They changed us the remaining 2 nights though. Other than that, great value hotel. The rooms are clean, they have a good restaurant and the beach is less than 5 minutes away. Great spot also for restaurants.
They have a free safe in the rooms.

GOOD POINTS:- rooms were large and clean with good aircon and storage. 2.excellent location in the middle of it in karon beach. 3.excelent friendly helpful staff who we got on with really well. 4.the food was outstanding never had a bad meal. 5.facility to use sister hotel with pool and if you go the correct way through the market only ten minute walk but be aware last 200metres uphill but worth the effort.6.considering the location the noise levels are not oppressive and never had a problem sleeping.7. priced very reasonable.8.great tv in room,was ill for a couple of days stayed in room,tv saved me!!
BAD POINTS:-not good for disabled but that is in the nature of the building,but would have no problem in sister hotel.2.had a few days when hot water did not work but was not a huge problem.3.stayed in medium room but it had no microwave as suggested on website(same in all 3 rooms)but not sure what i would have done if i had one!!but i think it needs clearing up on website
SUGGESTIONS:-just one, a kettle and two cups in room,not the teabags sugar coffee or milk as this can be bought and kept in the fridge by the occupier of the room,but i missed when i woke at 6.00am having that first cup of coffee in bed.

all in all great time and no problem staying again
