We had a great stay at Karon Cafe Inn for 3 nights. Clean, charming, and comfortable room. Bed and sheets were very comfortable!

We also had a great dinner at Karon Cafe, and throughly enjoyed the Eggplant Bisque. David, if you're reading this -- you promised me the recipe! :)

Also, the guests at the Karon Cafe Inn are allowed to use the facilities at the Pacific Club Resort, a short walk away! The only mild criticism is that we were not informed of this until our last night, so we had to hurry to use the steam bath and the jacuzzi before we left!

Karon beach is a crowded place, thanks god, not so crowded like Patong :) I don't like crowded places so it was rather a disadvantage for me. In the night there was a disaster - loudly songs from nearest cafe, yes, take the earplugs with you. Or maybe it was so loud because of poor insulation, i don't know. So Elvis shows freaks us out, but i think we should came to see it anyway, too bad we were so tired by the end of the day :)
About Karon Cafe Inn:
Rooms are spacious, even the cheapest ones (we get it for 1200b), with big windows and hot pleasure water. Service was ok. Only one thing that freaks me out about this hotel - lots of cockroaches (yikes!), not big ones to my fortune! but i bought an insect killer spray in local supermarket, so they've never come back :) Room has a big TV with perfect rage of channels with good movies, room locker, AC, mini fridge and free Wi-Fi, but no kettles, no hairdryers.
Although in Karon cafe there were cockroaches running on the tables, so after one breakfast (which was good) i've decided to have a breakfast in Little Mermaid in front of Karon Cafe.
The beach was in 2 minutes from hotel. But if you would like to go somewhere else - pay cash, the taxi is VERY expensive on Phuket: 300b minimum to get to near beach. Or you can take a local tours - it will cost you less. To get to airport will be about 600-700b. It's very expensive! It's the same to travel a half of the country by bus!
So, the hotel was OK (besides cockroaches and loud music in the nights), but i think i won't come back to Phuket, it's expensive, a lot of tourist and nature is not so great like on Krabi. Go on Krabi instead.

Booked 2 rooms, one of which got upgraded to a slightly larger room at no extra cost. Rooms were spacious. Hotel is located about 3-5 minutes away from the beach. The cafe serves a decent breakfast (did not try having lunch or dinner there due to the presence of plenty of other restaurants within walking distance which we wanted to try). Bike rental shops, convenience stores, massage parlours and the like were all within convenient walking distance. If I head to Karon again in the future, I will certainly stay here again.

Just had a very nice stay at the Karon Cafe Inn for 3 nights. Lovely, huge room with fantastic a/c too ! The cafe itself serves excellent food as well as the other restaurant they own too that is just down the same road - Las Margaritas.
I had a room that overlooked the street and the only mild criticism I would have - and I must point out that this had nothing to do with the Karon Cafe - is that the Calypso restaurant directly across the road had a terrible, terrible singer performing on all the nights I was there. If you want to hear songs you previously knew and loved, completely murdered, then he's the guy to listen to ! You think no-one could ruin Happy Birthday ?? Well, you'd be wrong ! Maybe I was missing something though, as he drew a very large crowd. Fortunately, I had earplugs !
