Great family hotel in the heart of Karon Beach. Staff very helpful and friendly, and are great with children. Room was very spacious and exceptionally clean. The in room bar facility very cheap, unlike many hotels. Great swimming pool. Lots for great eating places within walking distance. Also close by was Kata Beach, which we thought was was the better off the three beaches. We stayed 10 days and enjoyed all of them.

The location is really good. Just across the beach. But the food is average. Standard rooms are affordable but not very well done. All in all an average hotel. The only plus point is the location.

ok, highlights and lowlights: highlights: location is very good, right in front of the beach and hotel is not expensive.
lowlights: staff is really not friendly, i mean we are in Thailand, supposedly one of the friendliest most tourist oriented places in the world and i decide i want to stay one more night and the staff would not give me a better rate, nothing. i just could not negotiate the rate! and i did try! so in fact, in Thailand, i ended up paying more for the room that i would have paid via internet... not very normal. Plus, there was a huge leak of water in the room : do you think they gave me a discount for that? nada... so bad impression about staff.
Breakfast was very average, rooms too, swimming pool er... probably more of a jacuzzi size yes. so, ok, it is good price for the money but if you are looking for comfort and a nice warm friendly stay, don't go to KP hotel.

I was quite impressed with the resort considering how little it cost for six nights. My room was cleaned every day and it had free tea & coffee, fridge, cable TV, balcony and safe. Robes and an umbrella was inside the cupboard. I had resort the breakfast every day and there was a huge variety of food to choose from which was great. The staff were helpful booking in, booking tours and providing general advice about what to see and visit. It is in a great location as the markets are about 20m's away, the beach is across the road, tuk tuks/taxis are opposite the resort as well. I used the resort spa and got the best massage ever. I used the resort pool which was in a beautiful position. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who doesn't want to spend much on accommodation (as I planned to be out sight seeing most of the time), but still get a comfortable, clean, tidy and friendly resort to stay in.
