Myself and 5 others booked for a 5 night stay at Karon Princess with the intention of staying elsewhere for another 2 nights instead we extended our booking for 7 nights which was no hassle at all. The rooms were clean and the room was made up fresh everyday. The free daily breakfast included was well supplied with many choices to fill up and get a great start to the day, fresh fruit, freshly made omeletes, cereals etc. The staff were more than friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location just across from the beach, great restaurants around the corner, markets a short stroll up the street and no trouble getting a tuk tuk or taxi.

for the price this is simply great ,online booking thro jet tours costed me 10.5k INR for 6 nights for a deluxe sea facing double room this is absolute value for money

located on karon road , very quiet ,away from all night activities bang opposite the karon beach , rooms are absolutely clean and large with a lovely toilet , breakfast provided was good too , if you get rooms a little bit inside its a long walk this is not a concern ,you could hire 2 wheelers from the hotel @ 200Bhats this is a must if you want to explore the town, there amazing hotels in a lane jst a km away

Karon road is ideal for families and all ameneties is ideally located close by ,if you have a 2 wheeler with you nothing like it , the staff are friendly enough but english speaking is difficult but they do try , but they know exactly what they are doing

Over priced, rude uncaring staff and really untidy. Have to walk heough engineering workshop to room. Staff not interested to help. The restaurant very poor with a broken floor. Avoid at all costs. Also used a lot by low cost Russian tour companies.

Stayed for Christmas of 2010

The service was terrific, start to end. We actually even really liked the in house concierge, they were not pushy at all which was a bit surprising, as sometimes you can find yourself signed up for stuff before you know what hit you. We signed up wth 2 trips through the hotel and think our deals were very good.

Great location across from the beach, 5-10 minute walk to the "town" but plenty of restaurants and other hotels on the strip. When we took trips to "James Bond Island" or other popular snorkeling places, we ended up having to drive to the other side of the island, so remember that the Karon Princess is on a relaxed side the island, so it's good if you want to spend a couple days just tanning, walking around, relaxing.

The in-house restaurant lacked nothing that we could see, great breakfast in the mornings. The rooms were very clean, the swimming pool IMMACULATE and wonderful! Great great value for the cost.

Though it wasn't the craziest of 'nightlife'... the smaller selection of bars did not mean less fun or quality. We found a freaking amazing bar one night and partied all night with friendly locals.
