We stayed for 5 nights at their Jungle room .. the room is so beautiful and clean, love the flower arrangement on the bed everytime the room cleaner comes.The staffs are accomodating.Buffet breakfast at On The Rocks Restaurant is good but few choices, but its not a problem because you can order Eggs,Bacon and Ham for free.. Wi-fi is free!!!!
The Beach is just a short walk from our jungle room.. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back for sure...

This was part of our "splurge" leg in my boyfriend and I's Phuket trip. At 200/night it was at the top our budget, but as with many things in Thailand: well spent. The hotel offers complementary shuttle van round trip, so take advantage. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and offered cold towels and ice teas at check in. Check in was fast and easy - they knew exactly who we were and everything was already prepared paperwork wise.
Escorted to our room - it was conveniently located right outside the pool. (Room 120) Beautiful grounds! Lush gardens and amazing variety of plants on the walk there. The room was clean, and surprisingly modern, having a apple computer w/ internet included. The shampoo and conditioner come in ceramic jars which was unique and I think much greener system. Beach towels were also already provided in the rooms which solves the headache of always visiting the pool on the way to the beach.
The breakfast included at "On the Rocks" restaurant was decent. Most of the staff was friendly and very quick service (bringing coffee, tea, omelet, etc). There wasn't a TON of variety but what was available was high quality and tasty.
Overall I wished I could have stayed longer then a couple of days as it is exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for: Quiet hotel in great location with lovely service.

Overall this is a great hotel, immaculate and in a great location. It is a more expensive hotel that Phuket really merits but I get the impression that prices in Phuket are generally quite expensive for hotels. This will not disappoint.

Pros - excellent location for both Kata and Karon and everything is within walking distance if you don't mind waking. Failing that there are taxis and tuk tuk's a plently.
Breakfast - excellent location over looking an bay and a great mixture of tha food, eggs and continental breakfasts. Plenty to choose from. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant which although expensive was great and a very romantic setting.

Cons - this was a steep hotel with beautiful pahtways done in a tropical setting but it is not for people with walking difficulties as it was built into the hillside. The ocean view room is not really very different to a jungle view room and because there are so many trees it was really more of an ocen view glimpse rather than a view! If you want a better view rooms 206-212 seemed to be on the front of these rooms and probably had the best views.
Villa was great, spacious, immaculate, bathroom was huge and spotless and the evening turndown service a very nice touch. I would stay here again.

Food tip - the Dino Bar has great thai food believe it or not!

Be warned - both Kata and Karon are quite touristey even though they are the quieter resorts on Phuket!

In our family tradition - New Year's holidays to carry out in the Marina. Only once (last year) did not book a rooms in this hotel and have lived in Movenpick. This year, returned to the hotel and were very happy. All high !. Did not even notice that there is a reconstruction of restaurant. No noise and good breakfasts organization .. Thank you Marina for relaxed atmosphere!!
