I stayed here with my family late last year, but this hotel still sticks out in my mind! As a group of four adults, and two young children, the staff went out of their way to help us and make sure our stay was enjoyable. There was always someone on hand to bring our stroller up and down the stairs and find us highchairs at breakfast. The hotel was clean, tidy and quiet and located in a great area away from the hustle and bustle of Patong. During our stay, we had a maintenance issue in one of our rooms (the shower head came off in one bathroom) and it was fixed in an extremely prompt manner. The only downside I have is that during periods of rain, our balcony filled up with water, but that was fairly minor, and hey, at least we didn't have to go downstairs for a swim!

We just returned from returned the Andaman Seaview hotel in Karon beach, Phuket. It was the best choice that we could have made, we used to staying in Patong Beach but it as getting frustrating as there are always a lot of people and very busy at times.... This was our first time stay in Karon, it was amazing.... The service is excellent in this hotel and the peaceful quiet surroundings made this the best Thailand visit ever. With Patong just 5 minutes away we didn't miss out on sme partying either.... I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a beautiful, peaceful yet a bit of everything kind holiday. With this side of the ocean all yours... Andaman, thank you for making this a wonderful vacation for us. We will definitely be back next year.... Jennifer and Jojo.... Just returned from the Andaman Seaview Hotel in Phuket. A lovely hotel in a good location. I found all the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. My room was huge, and one of the nicest that i have had in many years of travelling. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, with an enormous choice. A special thank you to Jennifer, who looks after her guests so well. Would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Phuket.

This hotel is OK, but if you are planning any activities such as visits by sea toPhinPhi Island, James Bons, etc., you will find yourself in a van for 1 to 1.5 hours each way before you even start your tour. Karon beach is on the south end of Phuket and all the trips leave from the north end. Also, the airport is on the very north end and this hotel is one of few ever that charge for their Airport Shuttle and they charge twice what a taxi costs. If you stay here just take a taxi from the airport. Also if you need just a few hour late checkout forget it! They will charge you as much as another night. The front desk staff can also be a bit rude and much less than helpful, but the rest of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Internet charges are exorbitant.
