We stayed for a week in a Thai room nice clean room good size balcony however the shower was ridiculous.The shower head was made for a giant it was set far to high and trickled out no good for rinsing hair ladies.
Also no draw space in room .Pool areas some broken beds.Overall with a bit care and attention it could be a really nice place.
Great food at the beach restaurants at reasonable prices straight across road from hotel.
Change your money before you get there as the store outside of hotel gives a poor rate also he tried to give us half the money we were due so watch your change.

We were picked up at the airport with no fuss and taken straight to the hotel (5 min away). The resort was under going some construction while we were there but it was not a problem for us. Our room was at the top end of the resort (a good 5min walk) so we asked to be moved. This was not a problem at all and we were given an upgrade with no hesitation. Breakfast each morning was great and there was heaps to choose from. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed at Nai Yang last May and chose this resort as it was so close to Phuket Airport and we were at the end of a late night flight from Sydney. We were picked up at the Airport and were checking in within 15 minutes. Our rooms were clean and spacious, and as is normal for that time of year, there were few other guests, and we had the use of both the impressive pools to ourselves.
Breakfast was included, and we had few complaints. Staff were very helpfull at all times. Nearby is a well stocked 7 Eleven, right across the road is the beach,and there were several delighful restaurants nearby serving delicious, cheap food. Massages were available at what seems a standard 300 baht and there was a good selection of Dvd`s to choose from at several stalls.
We hired a car from Thai Rentals for about $60 daily all inclusive for our weeks stay and had no problems at all with this company.
We chose to stay again for 6 hours before our flight home and were able to negotiate a reasonable rate with the Duty Manager.
We all agee that we will stopover again on our next visit to Thailand at Nai Yang Beach Resort.

Nai Yang beach is a fantastic beach - one of the best! The Nai Yang Beach Resort is ordinary by comparison. The rooms are very basic but I guess as other reviewers have said you get what you pay for and by Phuket standards this is an average price for below average room. The pool are shallow and uninviting. The bed was extremely hard and pretty uncomfortable. Our air conditioner had a breakdown but the resort staff corrected that the next day. You can get free wi-fi in the reception area but no where else. The resorts breakfast restaurant was very basic and not very inviting - I won't pay for that again. In short if you are going to Nai Yang for the beach then the resort will serve you well. If on the other hand you want true resort facilities than this resort is not for you.
