We have just got home after spending a very comfortable night in this wonderful castle,our room was cosy and warm and it was magical, sitting in the beautiful lounge watching the snow falling down.The dining room is very impressive as well as the decoration,will definately return for another stay.

I have recently taken on a contract with a large corporate company close to Studley Castle and have been staying at the Castle 2/3 nights a week. When I came to check in this week I was greeted by Lady Wendy Parry the General Manager. A little sceptical she asked me if we could have a chat, so I took a seat in the bar wondering what was going on. The next thing I was approached by herself and introduced to another lady Maxine whom i think worked in sales. Lady Parry then proceeded to say I notice from our booking system you have been staying here quite a lot and wondered if I mind saying was I working in the area? When I explained my current job secondment she proceeded to say would I be interested in setting up a special rate as a regular customer. Of course to me it was great that my recent stays of 2/3 nts per week had been noticed and I was bring treated as a valuable repeat customer. I have now set up a special rate and stay at the castle 4 nights a week now. My room is comfortable and clean although could do with a little updating and the service I have received is well above my expectations. So if you have to work locally to the castle and are away from home I would definately recommend it.

my daughter arranged her married at studley castle which was to take place on 28/01/12.
as soon as we knew we made a resorvation at the hotel.

we then visited the hotel with my daughter and future son inlaw to view the rooms,
my daughter was taken to room 6 and a very beautiful room it was too,
as we was leaving the room i asked the lady who was showing us around if there was any haunted rooms in the caslel as i was very interested in ghost and the paranormal,
she looked at me very shocked and said i will take you to look at room 10.
as we have had lots of people say they have seen things in there,

i walked in to the very beautiful room, very light but not very warm. i had the feeling that we were being watched but i did'nt feel threatend,
i knew straight away that i wanted to stay in this room but not to the delight of my husband who is very sceptical.

the very next day when my daughter phoned me i got very excited she said that she had phoned the hotel and asked for my reservation to be changed she had booked myself and my sceared husband into room 10 (i had got my wish.)

the day of the wedding arrived and we was all so excited, everything was runnig to order and what a fantastic day it was from start to finish,
we was very well looked after by the staff at studley castle and i would highley recomendyou stay there.
the food was great and the staff worked really hard.

it soon came the time to go up to our room that we had been in and out all day and nothing underward had happened .
we went to bed at about 1.oclock my husband was a bit unsure about being in an haunted room,
just as i was drifting of to sleep i thought i felt someone lean over me and was looking very close at my face ,
but i just thought it was my imagination and the fact that i wanted something to happen,
when i woke up i told my husband what i thought had happened and he said i must have been dreaming.
takin in to account that had the best night sleep for a long time. on the sunday morning i was sitting on the window sill eating some wedding cake when all down my left side went stone cold,i told my husband and i asked him to take a photo of me to see if there was anything there,
i was very disappointed to find nothing on the photoghraph,
we returned home sunday evening very excited to see all the wonderful photoghraphs that we had taken over the weekend.
all the pictures had turned out brilliant all but one, the one i had asked my husband to take of me on the window cill, the one i thought that someone or something was standing beside me.i din't like it, we had view the photos through the tv i was just about to deleat this picture when i noticed something in the bathroom i asked my husband to zoom in on the picture and there it was we had caught a image of what we would call a ghost.this was a fantastic picture of a man in some kind of uniformi couldn;t belive it see for yourself check out my photo

I attended a private party here on Saturday evening and had a birlliant night. The room was decorated lovely and my friend told me that the staff at the hotel did it, so good job. We had a wonderful meal with pate and steak, the steak was goregous and cooked perfectly. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. My partner and I stayed over at the hotel; the room was clean and of a good size. I would certainly look at holding a party here myself in the future. Well done to all the staff who worked that evening thank you for a really good night.
