We have been coming here now for a good couple of years and can honestly say it is fantastic.

The friendly warm welcome you receive when you arrive is supurb and really adds to the relaxed feel that Bridge House offers.

The bedrooms are well presented and the beds are really comfortable, you also have a lounge area which has a host of games books and other activities to help you unwind after a long days walking.

John and Anna are the perfect hosts and will even offer a packed lunch service for avid walkers (should the supurb breakfast not be enough)

All in all if you want to stay somewhere in the dales that is both well appointed for numberous walks and has a supurb warm feel i believe you cannot got wrong at Bridge House many thanks John and Jayne

A very welcoming and comfortable house, beautifully furnished with many thoughtful touches. The room was spacious and comfortable and a cosy sitting rooom was available for our use too. Breakfast was accompanied with delicious fresh baked bread. Would recommend any time of year but must be lovely in the summer.

We booked the whole house to share with friends , and stayed here over new year. A fantastic retreat from the city- even our mobile phones lost reception( a bit scary at first, but suprisingly liberating!). A very peaceful house, in a peaceful village. It is in a beautiful location, with easy walks right from the doorstep . Lovely views, and no traffic noise.
The freshly cooked breakfast virtually kept us going til teatime.
Comfotable lounge, but spacious bedrooms meant we could have as much contact or privacy as we wanted. No hesitation in highly recommending Bridge House, and are planning our next break to visit again soon.
