Biking from the Czech Republic to Austria we made our first stop in Austria at this wonderful resort located in "upper" Osterreich. Located in the rolling hills, it's situated in a serene and wooded valley. The staff offered us a very warm Austrian WILLKOMMEN ! This resort has much to offer, tennis, a bowling alley, indoor and outdoor pools and a spa. The massage at the end of a long day of cycling was absolute bliss ! It's also situated in schnapps country which we we're very fortunate to sample and see how it's made. Choices for dinner and breakfast were typical Austrian cuisine and the meals we're prepared to perfection !
If you're biking or driving through this absolutely beautiful part of Austria, I would highly recommend staying at this "RelaxResort" !

“Nice hotel, Amazing scenery, great staff”
I have stayed in this hotel a few times now, always for business. If I wanted a holiday in Austria I would stay at this hotel, no questions asked.
The hotel rooms are traditionally fitted. The restaurant is very good. The staff are extremelely polite and attentitive. The 'spa' area is very nice too.
The bar in the main hotel area has some of the best wines I have tasted. However, remember you pay for what you get - so they are not the cheapest. The schnapps on offer are wide ranging and if you go to this area of Austria you must try the pear cider (its famous for it in Austria). The cider is very strong and served in a wine glass. It tastes fantastic.
Just up the road in Neuhofen, there is a 'stonehenge' type monument. This is where the foundation and naming of Austria took place all those years back. This is something the locals are very proud of, so I recommend a visit - to tick it off the list.
Would I stay here again - I hope so!
