I’ve just returned from a 7 days vacation to Solar Palmeiras and I enjoyed very much staying in this hotel. First night we had an apartment located in the back of the hotel, which was a little bit noisy since the hotel is pretty close to railways, but we exchange it next day with an apartment with sea view (for an extra 25 €/day), and it was ok. The rooms are very spacious. The hotel is located at very short distance from the beach, which is a very good thing, cause the swimming pool is very small and there are few sun beds. The breakfast was simple but very good. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. The hotel is located between train stations of Paco de Arcos and Oeiras (10 minutes walk from each of them), which is very convenient cause you can travel to Cascais/Estoril or Lisbon in no time.
We will for sure return to this hotel.

I was very impressed with the location, food and the friendly service. We had a great suite with lots of room, the beds were very comfortable and had large bathroom. The atmosphere is very friendly and it’s located in a great area of Lisbon, close to everything. I look forward to returning soon!

The hotel was lovely, very clean, has parking, with a good breakfast area and fabulous rooms.
The views from the hotel are amazing - the hotel also has a swimming pool.
Only drawback is that it is on a main road - although we were never bothered by the noise, but it is worth mentioning.

I travel extansively on business, and have to say that this was the worst experience I have ever had. My company rented the conference room at the hotel and booked my room there for 4 nights. I believe that we got some of our money back because it was so poor.

Overall, I would never go there again, for work, food or to sleep. The person from my company that booked it had been there for a meeting 8 years ago and thought that it was nice...he was extremely apologetic to everyone at the end of the week. Every interaction with the staff was as if they had something better to do, and had absolutely no idea who you were.

-Hotel has a dog that barks all night, I think it's a German Shepheard. When I called the front desk to complain...see previous point
-Hotel is directly next to train tracks, train runs from before I wanted to wake to after I wanted to go to sleep
-Beds old and uncomfortable
-Decor circa 1976
-Furniture beat up, tears in sofa and rug
-Coffee service for meeting was consistently late
