“A charming haven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011

Sherbourne House is a beautiful little hotel of great charm and character conveniently situated near the centre of Attleborough and just a couple of minutes drive from the A11. The bedrooms are delightful and the beds extremely comfortable, high on the "sink in" factor but firm at the same time. The dining rooms have wonderful features and are extremely comfortable and the conservatory is light and airy in the warmer weather and cosy when it's cold. The food is fabulous and the service great. This is a real haven where you will be made extremely welcome and very well cared for. I would come back like a shot!

Room Tip: All the rooms are great but Room 1 is wonderful

“Would definitely return!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We stayed during a race meeting at Snetterton and as a team we would definitely return. We had lovely rooms, great service & the food was brilliant.
The setting is more B&B then hotel but still can not be faulted.
There is a downstairs room, which is adjacent to the reception area so maybe try to avoid this particular room if you are easily disturbed.

“Stayed here for a family party”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2011

This is a beautiful house with lots of character. Our (3) newly refurbished rooms were large and had huge comfortable beds. Rooms and hotel in general was clean, tidy and well maintained. The location of the house is just outside the village so you are near to the shops if needed (but not in the countryside as such). The breakfast was lovely and there was lots of choice on the menu. I would comment that you get the feel of a guest-house/B&B as it is not a large hotel and the owners are very friendly- some might like it, others may not.
Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

“Difficult to find any fault with this hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2011

We stayed here for 2 nights in June. Our room was quite large with a very comfortable bed. The hotel was very clean and the food of a good standard. The owners were very obliging and fiendly. Would definately stay here again if in the area.

“Couldn't do enough for you”

Was there for a track day at Snetterton Circuit the following day. The circuit is only quarter of an hour's drive away and the hotel is well placed for this. There is also a Shell filling station on the way. Arrived later than planned but owner waited up to prepare an evening meal. Was able to relax in the lounge-bar area and read a magazine or two while waiting for the meal. Room very good and spacious with a decent shower. Slight issue with a noisy road outside but then I am a light sleeper anyway so many folk would probably be okay with the traffic. Full English breakfast in the morning and a choice of cereals and other food also as well as toast, butter and marmalade and a cafetiere of coffee to send you on your way! Very accommodating owners and a friendly pet dog. Excellent value for a stay over.
