Spent 10 days at the tropical garden resort while visiting with family that were staying at the north end of Kata beach. Found the hotel to be god value for money, the breakfast is varied and plentiful for those with big appetites , lots of eggs, fruit and yoghurt. The access to the beach is excellent, just across the street. And down a short lane. The 3 restaurants on the beach at that end are great, and away from all the traffic on the strip. At the other end of the beach you have to walk down this very smelly access way along a canal to get to the beach, not good! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, a lot of stairs to climb tho, we were in building 4 at the top, great view, and very quiet. Some of the stairwells and ramps could use a power wash, but it is 3 star.
I would stay here again if I were to return to kata. Walk down the beach a ways to get your chair, more room and not so crowded.

I stayed for 4 nights at the top level with seaview. The room was a bit worn but very clean and a very soft bed. The breakfast was large but not very good, especially the cooked thai-dished tasted very strange and the plates had an odd smell to them.

Good location, 5 min to the beach and very nice view. Mind you that Kata beach is NOT a calm beach, it is jampacked with sunbeds and it's virtually impossible to find a space by yourself.

The pools at the hotel are very nice and the staff were very friendly!

Nice 3-star hotel and good vault of money. Close to both Kata beach and Kata Noi beach. We booked a Superior room. The room was nice but the beds are very hard. The pool is ok, but the sunbeds needs to be changed. The hotel provides beach towels so you don't need to bring your own. Great breakfast and very helpful and frendly staff. Highly recommended.

What can I say about this hotel, It is a nice hotel, in a nice location, the staff were alright and it was thoroughly average. We booked this hotel last minute to try another location in Phuket and paid about 35 pounds per night for a deluxe sea view room. It was really good value for money, the breakfast was okay and the hotel staff were nice and friendly. the hotel is located less than 100 metres from the beach and main street.
