A good hotel not far from Stonetown. Great pool for the kids and good location next to the ocean although don't expect a pristine white beach. Good to see dhows launching off the beach and fisherman tending to their boats though.
The hotel offered a shuttle but with set hours which might not suit. The taxi fare is a bit expensive if you need to do a few trips. A more regular shuttle would be handy.
Overall a good place to stay.

Our stay was made special by the Front Office Manager Michael who made sure that we felt welcome and appreciated as guests. The porter Raheema and a waitress Neema greeted us by name every day and asked about our night and how things are. We really felt at home and would not hesitate to stay at this wonderful place again. Such friendly staff makes one not to feel like a stranger and thus makes the stay more enjoyable. Keep it up and thanks to all the friendly staff.

we stayed at this wonderful hotel for 3 nights and we enjoyed so much. Everything was good organised including the management of the hotel and the staffs too. specially the General manager of the hotel MR FARID ABDALLA. he was very helpful and realiable all the time.
The food and the service in the restraurant was perfect,the rooms were well cleaned.including the hotel staffs are well good trained. they are hospitally,kind and friendly.
i can't complained about it.
we had a nice time and more fun in Zanzibar beach resort. i wish to recommend to anyone to pay a visit to ZANZIBAR BEACH RESORT and experiencethe beauty of the hotel.

We stayed in this resort for 3 nights. The setting is great; azure sea and great lobby.
Personell was a bit slow, but friendly.
Rooms were spacious plus we had a big balcony.
Food was good, again a bit slow.
There was no beach, just a entry point to the ocean. The beach was compltely neglected. A lot of rubbish and sharp stones. Not really suitable for swimming. There is also a big tidal difference.
Stonetown is 10 minutes away by taxi. If I was to return to Zanzibar I would probably go to another place.
