What a lovely gem on the outskirts of Darjeeling. After 3 weeks of the noise, honking, and cow pie dodging we were thrilled to have found a little piece of heaven for a few days. My husband is a tea drinker and when he saw the tea menu he immediately picked 12 cups he needed to try before we left. Needless to say we did a lot of tea drinking while staying here. Laltu the tea maestro was absolutely amazing and very open to sharing his tea skills with us. We practically lived in the restaurant devouring our very tasty meals and talking tea with Laltu. The room we had was very spacious. The one thing that could use fixing is the shower. There is a on demand water heater which is lovely but only a trickle of water coming out of the shower head. We ended up filling the bucket up and using that method which worked just fine. There is a big display of books you can read while lounging around the property.
