First the bad: They will book you to the tiger trips which are not inside the core of jungle resort and thus giving you very bad chance of seeing the tigers. This came up only the last day of our trip when a Swedish tour guide saved our trip and booked us to a proper tiger expedition. We saw 4 tigers, one from very close. That was our fifth and last day!
So in order to rip some lousy 20 Euros they will make you to miss the tigers.
If you don’t see the tigers in this place assume you are being used.
Minor rip off is laundry as they charge around 40 Euros compared to normal 3-5 euros. Also the price of one night is quite ridiculous if you don’t reserve through an agency. About 5 times more expensive!
The place itself is quite charming. There is a rural interesting very small village quite close by. Lots of birds and a river full of interesting life forms and plants. Interesting life form was in our toilet too: a frog under the toilet seat. That said, the area is a rural countryside with fields and the property is park like, not jungle.
The pool was ok. The food is average but service was good. Rooms were clean even in Scandinavian standards. There are holes under the doors though you might want to fill with blanket or something else.
Without tiger rip-off and ordering through an agency recommended. With these two extra, stay away without a real guide (real guide = non Indian guide, a bit bluntly put, but that is the way of life there).
