My group from Philadelphia stayed here for three days and everyone loved this hotel. From the warm and generous welcome extended to us by the owner, Marie Paule, to the lovely, quiet rooms with views onto the beautiful vineyards of the Côte de Nuits. The reception area, with a cozy wood fire burning, is large and comfortable, the perfect place to unwind in the evening with a fine bottle of wine (the hotel’s wine list features magnificent bottles from Gevrey Chambertin and the immediate surroundings). Breakfast is generous, diverse, and delicious, with homemade jams and a fine selection of cheeses and charcuterie (not to speak of the local fresh baked goods). From the hotel, it is only a five-minute walk to the center of town where you can find a good variety of restaurants (we liked the excellent and fairly priced Chez Guy). When the group did not feel like going out in the evening, Marie Paule allowed us to use the breakfast room as a picnic area, a kind gesture we appreciated a lot. If you travel in the Côte d’Or area, I most highly recommend this hotel.
