This was our cheapest ski-holiday ever, but also one of the better. Chamrousse is small, but very friendly and beautiful. Here are some tips:
- No complaints about the apartment, except that it was rather dusty. You might want to bring your own fitted sheets for the blankets.
- The small grocery store in the area was good, but you might want to bring things like dishwasher powder, some basic food products etc.
- The few restaurants/cafés in the area are pretty good (the big one by the pool is not so great, but ok).
- The ski-area is great for kids. You get a few really nice runs in all colors.
- Bring cash! Not a lot of cash machines.
- Snowtrex, which we booked through, have their own reception. They don't take credit cards and they are only open one hour per day. Not so impressed with their service.
