We stayed at Avidanella for two weeks in August 2010, having chosen it even after reading the bad reviews on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed at all. I believe there are people who always find something wrong in anywhere...
Avidanella is situated in the front line, facing beautiful, clean and open mind beach. This is the place you want to shoot your sunrise! The room is lovely and spacious, comfortable (great bed) and very clean. The property is clean, secured and well maintained with regards to a country style.
While the accommodation is very good, it is Alex and his family who do their best to keep you informed and busy. We rented a vehicle to drive around to the mountains, waterfalls, farms, beaches... The Corsica is the most beautiful place we have ever been to for a family vacation and touristic activities.
After a long ferry to the island from Italy, the Avidanella was the perfect place to stay on our arrival in Corsica. Will be back for sure.
