The first time i visited Makis place was 3 years ago when a promotion company i was working for,sent 5 of us for a project in Mykonos!We had a five beds room with kitchenette.
I met Makis and i loved the hotel.I visit Mykonos regularly and Makis Place is my first choice.
Rooms are quiet and i usually have a room with pool and sea view!
Breakfast is always nice and i really love their omelettes!

I arrived in Mykonos without any reservation and found a place at Maki's. Clean and confortable, easy to reach, it's a perfect place with a nice environment. I loved the pool and found the people (staff as well as customers) very talkative and social. I enjoyed the place and i'll surely come back this summer.

As a solo female traveler to Mykonos, Greece, I had to make sure that the hotel was comfortable, but most importantly safe. Makis place is a family owned and ran hotel in Mykonos located right across the new port, which makes it very convenient if you arrive or leave via the ferry. First off, the owner, Makis or one of his son's will pick you up from the Airport or from the sea port if you call them a few days ahead to let them know when you will be arriving. When they pick you up they start off giving you tips of where to go and how to get around, which is typically easier if you have your drivers license to rent a bike or car. I didn't have mine with me, which made it a lot harder to get around, but the buses and cabs do run as frequently as possible. In addition, Makis place also has a very nice restaurant where you can sit down for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is also a very nice pool as well. Check out the pictures and see for your self. And be sure to visit Makis Place next time you are in Greece and tell him Oby sent ya!

We needed last minute accommodation and picked this from a selection given to us by the agent in Greece. it was just perfect!!! the rooms are very clean and Maki and his sons made us feel very welcome the whole time we stayed. it is easy to get to Mykonos town from here as the bus stop is across the road. We were picked up and dropped off to and from the ferry so had no hassles with timetables. The swimming pool is great and is quite a social spot. We met some really nice people there. All I can say is that we will certainly look up Maki when we are next there.

Look out for the photo collage on the wall which shows the hotel over the years. it started out as a farm owned by Makis' father...

the hotel is run by the family and it was a refreshing sight to see Maki sitting at a small wooden table working out the accounts.. no computer nonsense here
