We spent a week in Lindos during August 07 and whilst we were actual residents of Lindos Mare (next door) we spent all our days (and money) at this little gem called Hotel Yota.

It is located right on the beach and has a great pool / bar / restaurant area. The hotel has recently added some new studios and apartments and are well worth considering. The management and staff are very accomodating especially Christos, Panos and his son, and Max.

We stumbled on the Yota after the poor experiences at Lindos Mare, in particular the crazy sunbed situation at the pool, no tea / coffee in the rooms etc etc . . . . see our separate review on the Lindos Mare.

Next time we visit Lindos we will stay here and not even consider the Lindos Mare

Arrived for a week on 6th September 2006. Some friends of our were getting married in a 5* hotel the other side of Lindos and we wanted a cheaper option.
9 of us stayed here. The other 7 had come the week before for 2 weeks.
We had a self catering studio. Best studio I've ever had in greece!! Modern, clean, small kitchen area with toaster, kettle and microwave.
Bathroom even had a proper bath and shower curtain!! - any regulars to greece will know this is a rareity!!
Air conditioning was available we paid EUR 55 for the week.
Pool was just a few steps down from our terrace. Nice and clean, plenty of loungers with cushions and umbrellas.
Panos the barman was there all day everyday and was a lovely guy - nothing too much trouble.
We ate lunch from the bar most days and the food was cheap and of reasonable quality.
Beach 20 metres over a small road away. Quite pebbly but once in the sea nice and sandy. Very good for snorkelling as so clear.
Watersports available and the boys did Jet Ski's, Ringo's and hired a boat one day.
Nothing much else in surrounding area though apart from supermarket right next door to Yota Beach
Taxi's into Lindos were easy to get. Panos would order them for us EUR 9 to get in and EUR 6 to get back - always fixed prices.
Liked Lindos town but we only really went in at night for something to eat and a few drinks.
Good choice of restaurants and bars all reasonably priced.
Really liked Lindos by Night for amazing roof top views of the Acropolis.
We had night flight on way home and we asked to keep our rooms on. The manager couldn't let us keep our studio's on but they also have bed & breakfast rooms.
We paid EUR25 to have one of these rooms till midnight.
If I hadn't seen the studios I would have been happy with this room but the studios are much nicer and newer.
Will definitely go back.
