I was in this hotel with my girlfriend during one weekend and we had a lot of fun! The place is wonderfull, the hotel is in the middle of a forest/garden SO beautifull... amazing! Its a super quiet place, with a lot of class, and you can spend the day walking arounf the hotel, in the beautifull gardes, you can visit the "Termas" where they make healthy treatments based on special waters, and the best of all: 5 minuts from the hotel you have one of the best restaurants where i had dinner: A CASA DOS LEITOES, where you can eat a delicious meat! i recommend!

We stayed at this hotel and were disappointed. The grounds and room were all quite pleasant and the hotel in general is nice. What disappointed us were the elevated prices for the treatments and the food. It seems that Termas de Curia operates on the principle of having a captive audience instead of providing their clients with services at a reasonable price. The sauna is not included and costs 7 Euros extra which is quite unusual. We also went on our honeymoon and were not given anything extra as is customary. The internet also had problems and it is complicated to call reception from the room.

In sum, a pleasant hotel but not good value for money.

This is a 3 star hotel that should be rated 4 star. It has all the amenities required with the exception of the indoor swiming pool. They only have the outdor one. Went there for a private event and had no expectations. A new wing provides for updated rooms.
Another plus: it has a massive,historic garden.
The negative is also related to the hotel age. The tenis court needs a review, and also some buildings require revision or upgrades.
The restaurant is good, but that region is known exactly for the good food, so you can never go wrong.

We stayed for just 1 night but found everything perfect. Location in the park, lovely pool, cosy bar, very large bedroom and bathroom, historic thermal baths next door. Very relaxing.
