In April of 2007 my husband and I spent 2 weeks at Villas d'Agua.Every picture used in advertising of the Villas is spot on. What you see is what you get. Our one bedroom was spotlessly clean and decorated in a contemporary style. We were totally self-contained with every household appliance one could ask for. The housekeepers were wonderful and we all felt like friends after a few days. The entire property is beautifully landscaped and the vantage point (it sits atop rugged cliffs),has to be seen to be believed. The entrance to the Villas is manned by 24 hr. a day security personnel. It IS imperative to have a car while staying here as the location is a bit remote from touristy Albufeira. They have a lovely restaurant (Tangerine) on site and by car Old Town Albufeira is a short drive away when you want good seafood eats and nightlife. A huge surprise I discovered when we checked in was the Villas Spa which offers a wide range of spa treatments including massage atop a cliff which I enjoyed tooooo much !! WE will go back-the sooner the better. If you need to feel at peace and appreciate beautiful scenery, pack your bags.

just wanted to say this was the best holiday ever, my husband two children 9 and 7 and my parents were here for a week. from the time we arrived we had the best of care and attention. we had a problem with the fridge, we rang down to reception and within minutes they had a new one still in the wrapping delivered to the room. excellent! my father had been sick for a day or two and the staff were so helpful with the advise and care they gave us, the food was excellent and the room was second to none. we were so impressed we booked again straight away and there are now 10 of us going back in june for two weeks, i would highly reccomend villas d,agua for friendleness, cleaniness and hospitality. the surroundings are fantastic and the restruant is very appealing.

Wonderful place. Staff very helpful, managed to lock the safe and could not open at 12:00 at night, and somebody was with us within 5 minutes. Lovely food in the restaurant. Pool is lovely, and there is a lovely quiet beach 5mins walk away.
Reception very helpful.
Olhos d'Agua is a lovely area, quiet, but within a short taxi ride to busier areas.
Going back in a few months to Villas d'Agua, and really looking forward to it.

We stayed at the Villas D'Agua in February 2007. The complex is very attractive and appealed to us more than accommodation in Albufeira, which was more active.

The unit was nice, particularly the kitchen and bathroom. There was a patio which we used during the sunny weather. There is a trail to a viewpoint to watch the sun set on the Mediterranean.

Maid service was good, and the front desk was very helpful.

There are markets nearby and several good restaurants, notably O Duarte, Restaurant Atlantico, and, especially, A Cantina.

The Villas D'Agua website could be improved by providing directions (take exit 12 off A22) from Faro airport to the village, then to the complex.
