This a great place to stay and enjoy the sunset as well has being made to feel special by the owners Stella and her sister .Everything is spotless and nothing is to much trouble that it cannot be done .Me and my wife have stayed here a couple of times and been looked after both times the last being in September .You would not be dissapointed if you stayed at these Studios/Apartments anytime of the year as the air con is included in the price weather you need it or not .Anyway sorry it took a while to write this review but I have been Busy since we got back to the Uk . Just one last thing the sunset in the evening from the last bench in the bay looking towards Lindos is fantastic and not to be missed .

I certainly cannot fault this clean, tidy and comfortable accomodation...
Everyone there is so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much of a problem and an added bonus is the lovely bay. Small village not a huge amount to do, it just depends on what type of holiday you want...

Third visit to Haraki.

As usual, Haraki Mare provides the ultimate in welcome, friendliness, location, and all the little touches that make it so special. Sewing kit, night light candles for provided holders, mosquito plugs and tablets, water, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, washing up liquid, hand wash, and always a little present from them, which is different for everybody so you feel special. In our case, wine and home made preserve and bread.

Nothing is ever too much trouble for Stella and Elef.

The resort (if indeed it can be called that as it is so small) itself is so welcoming it is like coming home.

Thoroughly recomment Kostas and Elenis taverna for wonderful food. If you are lucky enough to go in the fishing season, then do order fresh fish from them the day before - it is to die for!!! Moussaka is out of this world, as is kleftiko and little fishes.

Some of the tavernas will allow you to use sunbeds for free if you eat and/or drink there.

However some sunbeds are not owned by the tavernas and do charge so it is worth checking.

We arrived on Thursday to Haraki, and stayed for four nights. The location was beautiful... waking up to the beach every morning and listening to the sheep wonder around the castle grounds behind us. Stella was more than helpful, and offered us homemade marmalade, bread, water, and other surprises upon arrival that we were relaxed and felt at home immediately. The atmosphere is relaxing, the locals are great, and I was so surprised at how many people spoke English! I have nothing negative to say about this place... except maybe next time to include packets of salt and pepper to accompany the free wine, coffee, and sugar =) Thank you! We'll be back!
