This is a lovely hotel in the middle of ... well about nowhere. If you want action, partying etc, this is not the place! The hotel service was good, we ate a lot in the pool bar. The breakfast was fine but got a little boring after a couple of days, basically it was bred or milk with cereals.

The bed is made of stone! It was horrible! I would want to recommend the hotel for it is great, the service, the room, the shower etc, but the bed. No. No one wants to sleep 7 nights on a stone. I can not recommend this.

The town is not a town. It is small, a couple of tavernas, a pizzeria and a steakhouse, and 3-4 supermarkets of which one is opened during siesta and night, as well as daytime. It gets a bit boring to stay here, we went on two boat trips from Nidri and went in to Lefkas town a coup0le of nights. Though if you want to experience the real Greece, this is a nice place to go. I would not recommend 2 weeks stay here, maybe a couple of nights for the experience.

Also there is no beach. There is sea meeting land and that's that. You can not rent sunbeds and the "beach" mean you have to lay on rockets on a small slip of stones. If you want to swim and bath and have fun in the sea, don't go here.

Nice location, just 5km far from Lefkada's city center. Quit and relaxing environment, full of lemontrees and flowers, large pool, all public areas are well cared and clean, nice pool bar serving from coffee to light lunch in acceptable prices. Room was nice decorated and extremely clean. WiFi bandwidth was acceptable for hotel but signal was strong only near pool area. TV set was old 14'' CRT tuned in just 10 local channels. Breakfast was miserable, I think that they must enlarge variety of serving food and change them every two days. In general is an excellent hotel but not a resort (in their firm label is written 'Konaki resort')

The swimming pool was great. Comfortable beds. Clean hotel. Poor breakfast. Good food on its restaurant.

Stayed there last month at the end of season - same time as John 44. As he said, the pool bar was not offering full facilities while we were there which was a shame but nevertheless, this is a super hotel. I was travelling alone which can sometimes mean poorer rooms for a bigger price but the room I had was excellent with a large double bed and a super pool view and I only paid a single supplement of about £20. My room had a superb bathroom (proper bath and shower with glass screen unlike many Greek bathrooms where you are lucky to get a shower curtain), mozzie screens on all windows, ceilng fan and air con, tv with some channels showing English/American programmes, decent size fridge. I can't understand why it is only 3 star. and highly recommend this hotel. The staff, especially Katerina, were excellent.

Lygia itself is pleasant but nothing to write home about, although it has half a dozen or so nice tavernas along the water front.. Great place if you just want to lounge by the pool and read although Lefkas Town is close and Nidri is accessible.
