just got home from tenerife stayed at the medano.basic hotel no aircon at all food basic and mainly cold,deposit needed for most things thats all the bad bits .medano is a small spanish town with great tapas bars the hotel has a great sun deck and staff are great .mainly older germans there .hey no probs there if you want to relax and be basic go breakfast only .it really is a little gem. cheers bill nottingham

Essentially ok and some staff were friendly and helpful, but I would expect both service and maintenance to be very good in a hotel like this on Tenerife. A lot of effort was made to provide a nice New Year's Eve party, but I could not help getting the nagging impression that management are only in it for the money. Some staff did not appear to be qualified for the service they offered. Perhaps my expectations were too high, having been to a hotel in Egypt the year before and having a lovely little beauty parlour around the corner in the UK.

Friendly staff don't make up for no kettle, no remote for TV, no air con, terrible breakfast,
awful bathroom, towels not fit for a car boot sale, and no bar open on a Sunday night!
The hotel is in a great location but it is tatty and obviously lacking resources. 88 euros for a seaview is taking a liberty.

Was nice clean hotel, bit on the old fashioned side. no kettle or air con. Rather expensive to upgrade to sea view but worth it.
Food hall is really that, more like a canteen. Not especially good, but there was something for every-one. We stayed in August for a week, was a quiet area, mostly locals.
Need a car to get anywhere though. Would saty again.
