amazing room, (definitely splurge for a sea view room -- incredible sunsets), excellent pool, good breakfast, and most of all, the BEST service. They let us check in at 6 am and check out at 5 pm without extra charge. The staff is very friendly and very helpful.
OH, and get this: they pay for your cab to and from the pier/or airport.
There are no drawbacks or catches. We had an amazing time at the Aegean and you will too.

Over the past 10 years, I've visited Mykonos 5 times. The great reception and friendly hospitality of the Aegean Hotel's staff has been the key of success of every vacation in Mykonos. I just couldn't take the risk of choosing another hotel and not having an as good service ! The rooms are sober but very clean and pleasant, the pool has a great view on the aegean sea and the passing cruise ships and the staff is great ! You've guessed it, my next hotel in Mykonos will be.... the Aegean Hotel !
We stayed 3 nigts at the Aegean and it was wonderful. Great view, clean and nice room, excellent breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. They had a non-smoking room for breakfast and the room was fresh and clean. There are no negatives here.
It's about a 300m walk into town with spectacular views most of the way. When we return to Mykonos, this is where we will stay.
