If you take a trip this way, don't just stay one or two nights. Stay longer and get the full flavour of a beautiful and unique island that belies it's "party Island" reputation. It might be busy in high season, but in September it was laid back and tranquil - and this was a great hotel at which to spend your Ios vacation. Niki drove us to and from the ferry, then sat us down and marked all the best places on the island on a travel map. He was tourist information extraordinaire and his recommendations were right on. We had a large airy room with a huge balcony (shared in high season) and an amazing view. They are simply decorated, but immaculately clean and some, like ours, have kitchen units if you want to self-cater. The pool is great, although there's a beautiful beach about 10 minutes walk down the road. We used both. Niki and Lisa treated us like friends. I left feeling like I could always return and be welcomed and I'd be back there now if I could.

Stayed here 2 nights. The hotel offered free pick up and drop off which we weren't going to use as they are only a 10-12 min walk away from the port but they saw us on arrival so drove us to the hotel and also dropped us off at the port on departure. Great service by Niki and hosts, he explained everything to us and suggested places for our interests, he was extremely helpful. We had a lovely balcony attached to our room, there is: free wi-fi in the rooms, a laptop in reception for guest use, a lovely pool and a local beach about 5-7 min walk away. We saw the local archeological site Skarkos about 15 min walk away and caught the bus from the port up to town (Chora) and Manganari beach (amazing sand beach with crystal clear water). It takes about 10 mins to walk downhill from Chora to the port, we didn't do uphill so can't comment. There are 2 great restaurants we tried in the port: Octopus tree (greek tapas style) and Taverna Sousana (best Mousakka ever!). This hotel was a very good price, exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our requirements and budget. We would definately recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel with a great pool and comfortable rooms. Its in a great location on the island within walking distance of town and the beach. Nikki the hotel owner is a fabulous source of knowledge and is always around to help out - but not in an intrusive way. We loved it and would definately go back!

We have been travelling to Greece for the pas 10 years and have stayed in all levels of accomodation , from Hotels to Apartments ,to pensions , but our stay at Brothers Hotel in Ios was the best we ever stayed at . The combination of friendlness and the professionalism was excellent . Niki and Lisa could not do enough for us ,the rooms are spotless and the Breakfast was excellent we give Brothers 10 out of 10
