The pool was great but the food had alot to answer for.My husband lived on bread and chips for his dinner the variation of food did not go together at all.We also had to queue in the restaurant.
We were often hungry when we left the restaurant.Also not good food for the kids.
Plastic cups were used to serve drinks in the evenings and the self service beer was dreadful.
The rooms needed updating and were not very clean.
We made the most of this holiday but would not go back glad it was just a week.

We stayed here in mid october, the weather fine (except one thunder storm). The accomodation, the food / drinks very good as was the entertainment, one evening a Chinese acrobat group performed, they were excellent. The resort is quite isolated and the bus service times could be more often. For a famialy holiday very nice and safe, howevever as a couple the isolation is a little restictive. Coastal walks to Cala en porter (n) and Binibali (s) are exceptionally pleasant. A trip into Mahon incorporating a harbour boat trip is very recommended.

I took my family away for a six night stay. My son is 9 so it had to have something to keep him amused. The hotel on first sight looks the part, it has a nice swimming pool and a shallow one for the kids. Minigolf became a favorite new game.
The room was a good big size, sofa and small table and chairs. The kitchen area had a sink, fridge and two ring hobs however basic it was clean. Bathroom was a bit outdated but we spent only a short time in our room anyway.
Food served was not always boiling hot and got a bit samey near the end of our trip.
The little beach is a nice one to spend time on and I went there more than stay around the pool good to have the choice.
To sum up its a basic place but only paid for that so didnt expect the ritz. We had a great week.

on first impressions,the place reminded me of a butlins holiday camp,balearic style,there was shops and car hire on site,the accomadation was clean,and views were lovely,the staff seemed pleasant enough,our thomson advisor bradley,was polite and helpful,that was the positives,on the down side,the the main entertainment building was dirty,flies everywhere,on food,children running round unsupervised,the restaurant was clean to the eye,but the food was cold most of the time,also reused i,m guessing,it was horrible.i ate pasta all week,i,m not a fussy eater,but it,s probably the worst food i,ve tried,and they don,t cater for little ones,one lady,i saw go to reception,complained she was checking out,simply because the food was rubbish,she wasn,t alone in that conclusion.local transport was another problem,a bus come on site 4 times a day.9am,12,5pm ,7pm.roughly..if you missed the last bus,from mahon,you,d have to get a taxi,which would be expensive.the island is beautiful,we walked from canutells to cana en porter,not for the faint hearted i can tell you,citudella was very pretty,there is a market there on fridays,the somni horse show in ferreries is not to be missed,beautiful stallion horses..and of course not forgeting mahon the capitol,is beautiful,and full of british history,at the port,you can go on a boat tour of the port for just 11 euro,it,s well worth it,and there is a market on there on tuesdays,which was really good.thomson and gropotel need to review all the bad feed back on this hotel,and rectify all it,s problems,the food lets it down,
