Hotel was quiet for this time of year, but still as good. Food, staff and overall experience very good. This is a place to go and really chill out, supermarket 5 min walk and small shopping outlet 10 min walk. Great bus time table to go to Almera (2.10 euros retrun) and Palma (5.50 euros return). There is no need to extend your room as there is showering facilities next to indoor pool which is ideal. Kids entertainer really good.

“Very relaxing”

The hotel was in a lovely quite area. It had supermarkets and Good Restaurants near bye. Private club was excellent and well worth the extra €6 each per day. No problem getting a sun bed in or out of the shade. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Snacks and bar drinks were very good staff here were most helpful and extra €0.60 for Irish whiskey was well worth it. We had a great relaxing holiday.
Negative points it was advertised on the site that I booked it as a 5*. The food was much the same each day very little variety. Breakfast was good. Despite the fact we were all inclusive we eat out most nights of the last week. €2650 2 weeks hotel only we thought was expenceive.

Room Tip: all seemed the same

“Real Chill out and Relax”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

This was our first holiday without our children. We were looking for nothing else but a relaxing break with sun, good food and drink. We have always done 3* all inclusive holidays with the kids so we thought a step up would give us a bit more luxury and we were not disappointed.

1. Free beach towels, so no need to pack any (saves weight)
2. Plenty of sunbeds although not many in "all day" sun.
3. Lovely grounds with tall trees creating shady areas because there were no individual parasols.
4. Room excellent, plenty of wardrobe space if a little dated.
5. Mini bar in room fantastic, free soft drinks, beer and water. Only the other alcohol was charged to your room.. Re-stocked daily.
6. Daily maid service with fresh towels.
7. No smoking in room although small adequate balcony area.
8. Good air-con, worked as long as the patio door was shut. TOP TIP, don't shut the patio door while on the balcony because you will be locked out!! I did it but fortunately my husband was still in the room, otherwise I have no idea what you would do!
9. Pool quiet during the day, excellent and very clean, NOT salt water.
10. Snack bar excellent, food hot and served to your table.
11. Ice cream variety good, cornetto like cones and lollies, some have an extra charge but most are free with all inclusive.
12. Snack bar dining area is shaded so a nice escape from the sun for a bit. We ate all our lunches here.
13. Drinks, all served in glasses, no plastic for adults at all!
14. International brands all inclusive.
15. Clear drinks menu showing if there were any additional charges.
16. BEST BIT, waiter service for drinks in the evening, excellent when your travelling as a couple, NO BAR QUEUE, very unusual in an all inclusive!
17. Entertainment outside in the evening which was lovely.
18. Entertainment was adequate. Two of the five days we enjoyed a singer, mostly English sing a long classics, excellent! The other nights the entertainment was provided by the entertainment staff, quizzes etc. They weren't pushy, if you didn't want to join in you didn't have to.
19. Restaurant was very clean and the food well presented. Plenty of variety and every night there was either a chef carving a joint or freshly grilled meat/fish.
20. Tables all laid with tableclothes, cutlery and glasses so you only had to self serve your meal.
21. Waiter came very quickly to take drinks order, house white, rose and red were inclusive as were soft drinks and water.
22. They always put your room number on the bottle and tried to give you any remainder the next night. Great I suppose if you were not all inclusive and had paid for your bottle. Top Tip: Rose was the best.
23. Nescafe granules supplied at breakfast, we just used a jug and filled with hot water, excellent, can't beat a good coffee in the morning.
24. HP sauce available too.
25. Restaurant states dress code is long trousers for men at night but this is overlooked, most men were wearing smart shorts and shirts, acceptable we felt for a buffet restaurant.
26. Shop on site to get newspapers, magazines and essentials, open morning and late afternoon.
27. Walk left out the hotel and there is a supermarket 200 yards up the road.
28. Turn right out of the hotel and right at the roundabout, 300 yards and you will come to a very small selection of bars, restaurants(chinese and italian) and shops. There is also a cash point.
29. No tabacs though, the hotel does have a cigarette machine. If you want to stock up on cartons you will have to go into Arenel.
30. Free shuttle bus from the hotel to Arenel and the beach although the taxi was only 9 euros each way and they are always outside the hotel reception so no need to book.
31. Arenel is very busy and appears to be a mainly German resort.
32. TOP TIP, the airport is only 12 minutes from the hotel, we got a transfer and it took us over an hour!! Seemed to drop off lots before the Delta. GET A TAXI.
33. Hotel has six tennis courts and cycle hire although we didn't use them, lots of peple did though, which was why the hotel was so quiet during the day.
34. Didn't use the gym, indoor pool etc so can't comment.
35. 25 euros to keep your room on, although all inclusive stops at midday and they seem very strict about it, eat lunch early from the snack bar and stock up on water, we did!!
36. On arrival the reception staff take a picture of you for the all inclusive key card which opens your room and gets you the all inclusive drinks and food. Might be worth brushing your hair before you check in!
37.The hotel Delta is very quiet, the surrounding area is very quiet, area seems very residential. The beach is a not in comfortable walking distance.

In summary, we loved our holiday, it was everything we were looking for. We both came back relaxed and ready to face our teenagers again!!!

“Superb family holiday - safe and away from noise and hussle and bussle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2011

We spent a week at the Delta, by default as we had originally booked for the Sun Club Eldorado 2* - taking 4 kids ranging from 8 -14 - this was truly a ''for them'' holiday.......We arrived at Sun Club Eldorado to be told they were over booked and we had been upgraded to a 4* with air con etc 5 mins away, and they took us in a mini bus - to be honest at 1 a.m in the morning and after travelling I can't say the Husband and I were best pleased...However, we found the Hotel to be wonderful, the hotel was full but there was always sun beds available around the 2 outdoor pools (it does also have an indoor pool and sauna/gym) the ''animation team'' maryanna and the girl from Hungary were great worked from morning til night - with things like water areobics, water polo, darts, crazy golf, and another game I can't remeber the name off, but all our kids took part. The pools are clean and deep, with a shallow area but no ''kiddy section''. The food was great something for everyone from Paella, Mussels, Rabbit, Chicken - with soups, and some super puddings - the breakfasts were the usuall - but a good quality and fresh. Included in the all inclusive were named spirits like - Gordons Gin, Malibu, Smirnoff etc - which is a rareity! If you wanted some cognacs there was a small extra charge of about 1 euro - but why would you, when other quality ones are available. We did venture to the Beach Club but with 4 well behaved kids - we felt this had a more adult only feel......lovely views over towards Palma.

Rooms were joined by a sliding door so 3 beds in each room, nice bathroom and plenty of wardrobe space - All inc included many of the drinks in the mini bar which was a bonus.....air conditoning much appreciated. We found all the staff to be warm and welcoming - However, no shorts allowed in the restaurant and the all inclusive ends at midday on the day of departure!!

The hotel is set back from the sea in a more residential area so if it's beach and sand holidays you like - this is not for you, however the Hall family, met some lovely people and had a wonderful and relaxing holiday......

Uno Dos Tres - Musika!!!!

“Definately recommend for a relaxing holiday, and time to unwind.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 September 2011

This was my first holiday abroad in a while, hence I wanted to make sure we selected the right destination, resort and nice hotel.

This was also my first experience of an all-inclusive holiday so I dont have anything to compare it against, but I would have no hesitation in recommending the Delta Hotel all-inclusive package.

The hotel was in a quiet location in Majorca with the full suite of facilities that you would expect from a 4* hotel. It was only a short ride from Palma airport, and proved a good base to visit other parts of the island.

The room was very clean, and there was a daily maid service to tidy the room and replace towels and drinks in the mini bar/fridge.

There are two very nice outdoor pools in addition to the indoor pool, and there is a bar close to both outdoor pools serving drinks and food. AND...no need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sunbed!

There was also a Beach Club which was lovely (no actual sandy beach there), and worth the 6 Euros (daily charge) which includes a beer, sunbed, parasol and towel. A regular free mini-bus service takes you to and from the beach club.

The restaurant had a very good choice of food every day, and was good quality, so no need to eat out elsewhere. Drinks were limited to wine, beer and soft drinks with your evening meal, but you could get alternative drinks from the bar.

There was a large supermarket just a short walk up from the hotel, and a few shops, cafes and restaurants just a short walk down from the hotel.

Most of the staff at the hotel were friendly, polite and helpful.

We'll be going back there!

Only a few negative points:-

- Evening entertaining was limited and a little 'cheesy'
- Hotel wasn't really geared towards children, although they did have a few staff that were trying to keep kids entertained with poolside activities
- If you're not all-inclusive, the food and drinks would be quite expsenive, and even more so at their Beach Club which is not part of the all-inclusive package
- The tv in your room only has a couple of english speaking channels (both news channels), but we spent very little time in the room so no problem

Room Tip: Most rooms have twin beds, but you can request a double and then at least the twin beds are pushed t...
