This hotel was a few blocks to a great beach (but be prepared to pay for loungers & umbrellas). It was quite far (10 minute drive, not walking distance) from the any "superclubs" and the busy harbor area. We rented scooters for under 20E a day, which helped us get around (although the driving was a little scary). Obviously, only rent scooters if you're very experienced and confident.
The "Tropical Garden" section of the this large hotel was much better than the other side (lux---something). The hotel rooms were very large (basially bachelor apartments). Most rooms seemed to have balconies (ours overlooked the pool).
On the negative side, the service at this hotel was both good and bad. One lady at reception was exceptionally polite and professional. But the rest were outrageously rude. (too many stories to get into) Also, housekeeping was not great (for example one of the single beds had sheets which were thin and ripped, while the other had good thick sheets. One bed felt clean, the other did not.
Nonetheless, this hotel was good bang for buck considering this was Ibiza.
