This is a very special place in a fantastic location. The owners are extremely friendly and our appartment overlooking the beach was very well thought out and comfortable. We had such a relaxing holiday and can't wait to go back.

many of the studios are right on the beach facing the sea, whilst others are in the midst of a beautiful pine forest 2 minutes walk away but still within earshot of the waves

the style is 1970s balearic construction - beautiful if you enjoy the charms of formentera and ibiza, but perhaps not so familiar for philippe starck-obsessives

the 'resort' is run by a local family, thus v laidback and easygoing

there's a pool and 'safe area' for young children to play

the restaurant is superb in terms of price and quality

i would recommend this to everyone, if you want a bit of formentera self-catering and want to go back to basics

VERY highly recommended. An apartment complex on big sand dunes that slope down to the beach. The apartments are not in one huge big block, but split into little 1/2 storey houses of about 4 apartments each, so the complex really blends in fantastically to the landscape and is not an eye sore in the least. We asked for an apartment by the beach and that's what we got, a mere 20 metres walk from the sand! Our terrace faced the sea/beach, so we could enjoy our dinner outside on the furniture provided. The staff are extremely friendly, also laid back, but not in a lazy way whatsoever, they were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and full of advice on what to see on this precious little unspoilt island. We had a double apartment, fit for a couple. It was really big, with lots of space, a little kitchenette, and a bathroom with shower. The apartments seem to have been recently redecorated, which was really nice, as we paid only €50 a night, yet it felt more expensive. The only gripe was that, as it often is, two single beds had been pushed together to make a double. But that did not spoil our stay one bit. The complex is on the nicest part of the Migjorn beach, the sandiest stretch, so there are no rocks juttering out of the sand to surprise you. The water, so clean and clear, it was amazing. There is a small shop, a bar/restaurant, even a nice little horizon pool where you can pull up a deck chair and watch the sun setting over the island. I was not expecting much from a relatively cheap apartment complex (as you usually never do) but this really surprised me. Not to be confused with other apartment complexes!! Superb value, really, we had a wonderful time here, and I can't rate this place highly enough. We will be back next year without a doubt. Even if you don't get an apartment down by the beach like we did, you will still get a wonderful view of the tranquil sea. An Formentera, well, what a place, I don't think there's anywhere like it in the Mediterranean, peace on earth!
