very bad hotel in Varhati
We were stolen in our room while we were eating in the hotel restaurant .
We checked on the hotel safety camera system : somebody ( external to the hotel) using a hotel key pass given by somebody working in the hotel stole our paper ( passport and driving licence) , 400 € and the key of our home and car.
No security in this hotel .

Moerover airconditionning was not working

Certainly not a five star hotel.
We spent new years eve there,the room was far too cold there was problem with the tv and the phone did not work despite the fact that a technician came to fix it.
Dinner was not exactly what I expected.The tastes were rather unknown for me.Moreover,the dining room was a bit small and the guests were two many.The waiters had just lost control.Also,we always had to share the table with strangers.
The other great problem were the kids who were numerous and had the annoying habbit of screaming and hiding under the tables.
The top of the iceberg was that we had agreed to pay 176 euros for three nights.The first day we asked to leave and the reception told us that we had to pay 196 euros for two nights whether we stayed or not.
In conclusion,most of the staff either tried to avoid doing their job or did not had a clue how to do their job.The best was that we could not communicated because some staff did not know a single greek word.

We stayed there from 11-18/8/07. The area of the resort is indifferent. The resort itself has a very nice garden, with large trees. The appartment was large, with two spacious rooms, included a small kitchen and pots. The bath was huge! But there wasn 't any luxury for saying that the resort is 5-star. The furnishing was very simple and indifferent (near to 3 stars). The pool is small for the size of the resort, as always the kids love it. The sea was average, according to Greek standards. The food (we had half-board) was excellent; no international food, but (this is important) Greek food very well cooked, very light (although it was buffet-style) and with a quite big variety. Every day you could find at least one traditional plate of Greek food. The staff was pleasant and the service was excellent. The resort is quiet. It 's ideal for people with small kids (it has a nice playground too). The resort can be a very good basis for making excursions to Loutraki, Nafplio, Epidaurus, Mycinae, Upper Corinthia (the mountains), Ancient Tiryntha and in general a lot of archeological sites, within distances of 1-1 1/2 hour. Had a very pleasant stay and surely will tell someone like us (people with small kids) to go there and enjoy the stay. The only thing that lacks, is that you won 't find the 5-star luxury. The price wasn 't cheap (225 €/day for a family with 2 kids), but also isn 't very expensive, always counting with the Greek standards.

I just wanted a quiet place for a weekend away from Athens. So Vrahati, where the hotel is located was a convenient place. We booked the hotel at a very good price (110 euro with breakfast). THe hotel is definitely not 5 stars but it's descent. The rooms have standard decoration. The setting is nice, still don't expect a lot from the area. The beach is ok and if you stay at the swimming pool, there is usually noise from the children playing there. I had breakfast on Sunday, which lasted until 11 and it was average. The service though is excellent, and the staff are very helpful.
