I stayed here on a road trip throughout Italy this month. I booked the hotel on-line and found my reservation was processed accurately. I arrived and was warmly greeted by the staff. The hotel is very nice and clean. My room on the second floor was big and had a balcony overlooking the lake. That was gorgeous. The bed is not the best and needs to be up-dated. I had plenty of room in the bath and all amenities were furnished. Breakfast the next morning was included. There are hundreds of hotels in this area. Just show up and you'll find what you're looking for. No need to book on-line, even on a busy weekend. The only thing I didn't like is there is no Wifi except in the lobby. Other than that, it was nice and quiet.

Chosen at random at the last minute this was a real find.The hotel is approached down a delightful tree lined street and sits on the lakeside with a small harbour outside the front door.The grounds border the lake with palm trees and lawns and a swimming pool, jacuzzi and kiddies pool. (The only gripe about the whole place was that the swimming pool wasn't cleaned regularly and although ducks may be picturesque in another location, a swimming pool is not the place for them especially bearing in mind their natural inclination to ........all over the place!!).
The interior of the hotel was cool and immaculate, the rooms were perfection (many thanks to the chambermaids) as were all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was taken on the lakeside terrace and you were presented with a huge choice ranging from cereals and juices through to cold and hot meats (and yummy fruit tart!!)
The dining room, bar and lounge were beautifully appointed and for that pre dinner drink in the evening watching the sun go down the garden furniture was smart and comfortable.

All in all a memorable stay which we intend to repeat

Another delightful stay at this beautiful hotel.
This time we took our 3 month old as well as our 5 year old son - the room we were given was a perfect size with lots of storage, including a huge bathroom. This room was cleaned properly each day.
Breakfast was lovely - all fresh; the staff are always keen to please.
The swimming pool is perfect for children who are not confident in water as it has a shallow, separate pool and then a large pool. The lake also has an area marked off for swimming which is accessible through a gate at the end of the pool area. Sunbeds are free and there are sufficient for the number of guests.
The staff are lovely, especially to small children who are made us feel very welcome; they also make an effort to remember names. The bar area at night is lit beautifully, making the best of the swimming pool and surrounding lake.
The hotel is well within walking distance of Garone Riviera for the ferry around the lake and the little train.
Salo has a number of lovely little restaurants including 'Papillon' overlooking the lake which has an extensive menu - worth a visit but very busy as many Italians seem to frequent! Parking is difficult so worth arriving early in the evening!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. It has a great atmosphere, which is partly due to the lovely friendly staff, who were very relaxed and couldn't do enough for you. The views were gorgeous and we enjoyed watching the sun rising and setting over the lake. The food was great, especially the dinner, and attention to detail was everywhere. Lots of guests were on repeat visits which speaks for itself, we will definitely be back too.
