Terrible road to get here, but the zero edge pool looking over the sea is worth that part. The food in the restaurant was good, but stay away from the curried salmon. Nice very quiet location, great views, but no beach access. Great romantic spot. Will return.

Excellent meals, breath-taking view, clean atmosphere, lovely staff, good gym, pool ok, massage excellent, strong messieurs. Taking the whole family next time

I have previously been here several times over the years , however service/credibility has definitely dropped tremendously.. judge my recent experience
- As a guest we were told at check in pool is available and functioning even when pool is out of service , front desk is not aware that Pool is under major maintenance
- No water in rooms, eventually when water comes, halfway thru shower water goes. How do you get soap of skin ?? either try to wipe off or use water from toilet tank
- Security - one person in the car park by the way also carries you to your room and monitors the rest of the several acre facility
- Refund - No refund available at time of leaving...still waiting for refund in mail – when contacted Assistant manager was dismissive stating “they were busy with 1 million other things”

What can left to be expected if the basics aren't right

Salybia is a great places to explore the wildlife of Trinidad. We were "stranded" here when the E15 volcano blew - the staff really looked after us and made sure that we had a great time!
