This place is a total rip off. The facility is shabby and isolated. As for the service... unacceptable. The food... no variety. I could say alot about Salybia Nature Resort & Spa but I'll just advise you not to waste your time and money!

Visited October, 2011. There was mould on the ceiling and after we put our baby to sleep on the bed, we moved the pillow and not only was there someone else's eyelash on the pillow (we did not lie on the bed yet, so it couldn;t possibly be mine/ours!)...there were bed mites or something of the sort crawling all under the pillows.Met with some sarcasm by one employees. We were upgraded to a suite.....jaccuzzi GRIMY and FILTHY and TWO COCKROACHES in the suite, one dead and one ran across the bathroom in the middle of the night. Had an appointment for a massage, therapist took another appointment and I was already disgruntled and was fearful of how disappointing the spa might be, i cancelled. The only good thing was the pool. My advice...do not stay there if you have standards!

The service was warm and friendly. However, staff needed to be more professional and upbeat!
The room was very outdated. there was not even a hairdryer nor an iron.
The location is very far, however, the resort's garden and fountain were beautiful. Activities besides the pool were needed for kids.
The meals were delicious but a greater variety is needed. Especially for children.
The best thing I loved was the pool. However, the room needed updating; activities needed for the kids. Also,the spa treatments should be included in a package with the room and meals; instead of having to pay an additional cost for spa treatments. That was a turn off.

Some humble advise to management....no matter what type of room it is, the basic amenities should be provided...complimentary soap, shampoo and lotion. Towels, sheets etc. should smell and fell clean. Just a little "comfort or fabuloso" can go a long way!!! Especially those blue towels!!!
Gabbage bins should be emptied everyday!
Front desk needs to take note of requests made and respond accordingly.
Kitchen staff needs to be more friendly and helpful...hot water for coffee and tea ran out and was not replaced in a timely manner.
Kitchen tablecloths, napkins etc. need to be replaced...torn and worn out!
However, Breakfast was great and one of the dinners!
