I never thought I would find a place that appealed to me so much. I had an unforgettable 5-day stay at the Bel Sit with 4 of my best friends. Every aspect exceeded our expectations: the reception in general, the rooms, the view, the pool, the cuisine, the wine, the personnel, the spa, the cleanliness, the management, the access to the various facilities. This is a 3-star hotel with 4-star qualities.
The place is surrounded with soft hills, olive trees, quaint country houses, breathtaking view of the Adriatic sea and the Appeninis. The Bel Sit is also a few steps away from the charming village of Scapezzano, where you can discover the local lifestyle, talking to people and savouring the day-to-day art of living the Italian way.

may not be know by many Canadians, but it is definitely a place to discover. Forget Toscana!! This area has everything we dream of when going to Italy... The airport (Falconara, Ancona) is located 30 min. from Senigallia, which is also well served by Tremitalia . The Bel Sit offers a magnificent view of the sea, the mountains and the hills with olive trees. It also has its own private access to the beach (free shuttle). The food, the wine, the service and the rooms are all above expectations. The hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool, a wellness center, a tennis court, and a new section with well furnished apartments each with its balcony or terrace. There you will find 4 star comfort at a 3 star price, and a very friendly personel, always ready to serve you and help you find a tour or an activity that will suits your needs. Open all-year round. This hotel is a piece of Paradise. Not only it is located on a hill with a magnificient view of the ocean (it has several patios and balconies where you can sip on your coffee or wine while admiring the view), it is extreemely clean, very well maintained, and has staff willing to go beyond the call of duty to serve and help out. It also has a Health centre with hot tub, sauna, haman, and services for massage and beauty treatments, and of course, a beautiful pool. It is very quiet and peaceful.

This is the kind of hotel that should be rated as a 5 star and yet the price compares to a lot of other places that don't even come close to being as nice. I totally recommend it, and when I go back to Italy, I am planning on staying there again.

We have just returned from a week at Hotel Bel Sit. The hotel is first class with incredible service. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel to go sightseeing we preferred to stay and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the hotel.
We stayed half board staying in the apartments in the new wing of the hotel. What apartments! We had a large sitting room/fully fitted kitchen, beautiful bathroom and a large bedroom with a balcony overlooking the rolling hills to the sea. Breakfast was a lovely continental spread with cheeses fruit pastries etc. Dinner was served every evening from 7.30. We had a different menu every day and all meals were simple and tasty and all made from local produce. Thank you Christian for looking after the 4 mad Irish so well!
The pool is lovely, quiet and laid out among the olive groves. Overall I would say this is the best hotel we have ever stayed in on holiday and we are all extremely fussy!
If you want a relaxing few days far from the madding crowd then a few days in Hotel Bel Sit is a must!
